  1. @ Sinda, Yeah, I saw that blurb about Win7, but I'm using Win8 and I saw that the launcher was OK to use with that. I D/L'd a copy of the file and installed it manually and was able to play NP, but I'd still like to get this issue resolved so I can switch back and forth with other mods when I want to. EDIT: Just for the H of it, I D/L'd the "EasyFix" tool, thinking it might help, but upon trying to run it, I received the message that the tool was not for my OS and it did not run.

  3. I'm having a problem using the launcher. I've played WOTW's just fine, using a manual install. Now I want to try Ravenhearst and decided it would be a good time to try the launcher. I let it download a fresh copy of each via my steam account and both games show up in the list and both say "installed", but neither one will play. When I start either game, it just plays vanilla. What am I missing?
  4. Don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but the lock-picks don't seem to work on either doors or on safes. I have both kinds and neither will unlock their respective locks. I haven't tried gun safes yet, but they do not unlock wall safes. The door lock-picks don't seem to work on any door.
  5. That's what I did and it works fine. Just make sure all your friends have it on their box also. I highly recommend the big backpack mod also. 72 spaces in the backpack and the minibike as well. EDIT: I should say that we are playing LAN. I would think it would be OK over the net also, but if you are hosting the game on the box you are also playing on, it will start to lag if you have more than a couple of people playing.
  6. @ PacifickFR42: The only way I have found to unload a weapon is to take it apart, then reassemble it.

  9. FINALLY figured out how to link to my screenshot! OK, I don't know if this has been addressed yet, but I was "buying" perks in the skills menu and came across this oddity. The left side list says ammo crafting 6 would cost 9points, but on the right it says that level 6 costs 12 points. I backed down a level (to 5) and it said "Known", so I know I hadn't skipped one level. Maybe you can squeak this one in on the next update? http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n191/sandpaper600/7DTD/1.jpg Also, I'm not sure if this is the way it should be, but I have purchased flaming tungsten crossbow bolts from a trader, however I am unable to load them with my crossbow. Do I have to have the perk of being able to make these bolts myself before I can use them? Still having errors popping up when a roaming trader approaches a stationary trader post (when I'm inside). Not too much trouble, though. I just send my partner outside to kill him and the errors go away...;-)
  10. Hi again Dwallorde- Again, I just want to say VERY nice mod! I am curious about a couple of things, though. I'm playing 5.1.7 with BBM and everything runs fine, but I noticed there seems to be fewer NPC's roaming and I haven't come across any roaming traders in 5.1.7. Secondly, I've been playing this mod since 5.1.1 and have NEVER run across any bandits. I know there were a couple of releases with them, but we're rolling minibikes all over the map, both on road and off and still no bandits. Any thoughts?

  12. I've been playing for a week or so on WOTW 5.1.3b B59, and it seemed to be running well. Last night I started getting a console full of errors, rendering the mod unplayable. I thought it may be related to something you had already addressed in the new update, so today I applied the update 5.1.6 B52, but still am having trouble. It seems to be related to an NPC? (Filename: Line: -1) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at EntityNPC.OnUpdateLive () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at EntityAlive.OnUpdateEntity () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at World.TickEntities (Single _partialTicks) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at GameManager.BC () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at GameManager.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 This error keeps repeating. Any idea where I'm going wrong? (BTW This is from the log file dump.)

  14. Hey Dwallorde...Great Mod. This is more what the game should have been all along! One thing though...is there a way to go back to vanilla torches? The new ones can't be picked back up and are getting to be a pain to keep fueled up in my mine. Thanks!
  15. I just installed the Mod on my computer, as well as my wife's (we like to LAN play) and the one thing I see just off the bat is that the compass is way too light and has no background to it. Makes it hard for me to direct her on which way to go (and believe me, she needs the help!). Any way to change this? We've been waiting for a few weeks for 5.1.1 to release and we're both excited to give it a try as we were getting bored with vanilla (nearly 700 hours played). Even another compatible mod to change the compass would be OK.
