  1. This was the trade off for the custom buff panels. If you hover over a buff you can still see a detailed name and timer. And if you want a description for that buff you can still open the character screen and look. Not being able to click on it seemed pretty trivial to me as all it does is open the character screen that you would read the buff description from. Didn't really figure that would be a challenge and is where most people look for detailed character info anyway. (edited side not on this: After opening inventory it's actually farther to mouse to a buff above hud than just switch to character info, just sayin 😜) And as far as the toolbelt goes you may want to read the description and/or actually try it out as there is literally a toggle and all layouts aside one has a version without toolbelt numbers. The only reason the Alternate layout doesn't is because it would look the same as the default. All that is also listed in the info for the toolbelt. Unless you mean the no options version but that's why it's called no options. Hope this helps 👍
  2. Customizable Zombie Damage Multiplier (CZDM) v1.0.1 Update -[FIX] All groups now perform a check to see if there is a boss tag being used before applying the needed tag to a zombie in that group. This will make sure no boss zombies accidentally get lumped in. In vanilla this means the Demolition Zombie but this should also make sure if adding a zombie pack mod any zombies with a boss tag won't be affected by any multipliers. -[ADDED] There is now a group for Demolition Zombies and they can have separate multipliers set for them. After the above fix these are no longer added to the regular zombie group(oops). The default multiplier settings for them are (50% less body damage / 20% more head damage) -[ADDED] Boar Boss Grace also has their own group now and can have separate multipliers set for them. The default multiplier settings for them are (0% head damage / 0% body damage). So by default does nothing but the settings are there should someone wish to change them. If there's any zombies added by a mod pack that have special or boss zombies not covered by this mod and you'd like them added let me know and it should be really easy to make a patch for them.
  3. Those might be a good place to start. Some of the tutorials are slightly older but most things should still apply and would be a good starting point. Then if something goes wrong come on back and I'm sure someone will help you get sorted. 👍
  4. The blocks line works fine. you can always check your config dumps to make sure something applied. The recipe lines though are not quite right. Property, name, and value are not descriptions they're for when the file actually states those. So for recipes it would need to look like this <set xpath="/recipes/recipe[@name='bladeTrap']/ingredient[@name='resourceForgedIron']/@count">20</set> <set xpath="/recipes/recipe[@name='bladeTrap']/ingredient[@name='resourceForgedSteel']/@count">20</set> <set xpath="/recipes/recipe[@name='bladeTrap']/ingredient[@name='resourceMechanicalParts']/@count">16</set> <set xpath="/recipes/recipe[@name='bladeTrap']/ingredient[@name='resourceElectricParts']/@count">12</set> <set xpath="/recipes/recipe[@name='bladeTrap']/ingredient[@name='resourceOil']/@count">20</set>
  5. New Mod Added Customizable Zombie Damage Multiplier (CZDM) -Sets a separate positive or negative body and head damage multiplier for various zombie groups. -This does not affect trap damage or any damage from buffs like fire or shock. So these will still work fine. -Easy to customize xml and every editable part is commented by as well as a little documentation on values used at top of file. -By default functions as a headshots only on zombies mod. -Default multiplier settings for this mod are as follows: Regular Zombies / 100% less body damage / 0% head damage Regular Feral Zombies / 100% less body damage / 10% more head damage Regular Radiated Zombies / 100% less body damage / 20% more head damage Regular Spider Zombies / 100% less body damage / 0% head damage Feral Spider Zombies / 100% less body damage / 10% more head damage Radiated Spider Zombies / 100% less body damage / 20% more head damage Regular Zombie Cops / 100% less body damage / 30% more head damage Feral Zombie Cops / 100% less body damage / 30% more head damage Radiated Zombie Cops / 100% less body damage / 30% more head damage Demolition Zombies / 50% less body damage / 20% more head damage Zombie Dogs / 100% less body damage / 10% more head damage Zombie Bears / 100% less body damage / 30% more head damage Regular Zombie Vultures / 100% less body damage / 20% more head damage Radiated Zombie Vultures / 100% less body damage / 20% more head damage Boar Boss Grace / 0% body damage / 0% head damage *All of the above settings have not been tested for balance but was more so thrown in for an example. All settings are easily changeable. -This mod should be compatible with most other mods. However if using a mod that also applies a head shot damage multiplier this mod may need to be adjusted to account for that, same with body damage. -This mod is compatible with added zombie packs as long as the mod author used similar tags to vanillas. For example I know it works with Darkstars zombies.
  6. All mods were built for and currently work with A21. All mods are EAC friendly and can be installed server side only unless otherwise stated in mod description.Everything in these mods is completely free use and anyone is welcome to do anything they wish with them. If any mods zip file or folder use an abbreviation that will appear next to the mods name below. This is where I'll be listing all my mods that are not Simple UI related. For my Simple UI mods head to the following page. Rev's Simple UI All of my mods should be able to be found on the 7D2D Mod Launcher. 7. Not if something is misspelled, especially a file name which is the other thing you said in your original post.
  8. Functionally when it comes to these two lines they are exactly the same and will do the exact same thing. One is just shorter than the other. 👍
  9. Any chance of a standalone for just the video options?
  10. Simple UI Toolbelt would definitely not. Everything else should work though I would imagine but can't say for sure as thats not my mod. I might consider a toolbelt patch at some point but really don't like the idea of starting that trend as it becomes a slippery slope fast. Make one patch for one mod then next thing you know everyone wants you to make a patch for their fav mod as well 🤣 All Simple UI modlets are completely free use though and anyone is welcome to do anything they want with them with no strings attached. Up to and including modifying them and uploading versions that work with something else.
  11. New screenshots are now up on the bottom of the OP under Screenshots.
  12. Update time is finally here and it's a good one. New buff displays, new stat bar layouts, new toolbelt layouts, lots of cool options now. Simple UI v3.0.0 Update There is now 4 tabs under the left HUD Default - This is the original Simple UI look just with better buff displays. Radial - This gives you radial stat bars as well as circle buff displays. Vertical - This gives you vertical stat bars. None - This removes the stat bars and just leaves buff displays in it's place. (Works well with some of the new toolbelt options.) Pressing the left side of any the layout tabs listed above will give you that layout with a simple buffs display. Pressing the right side of any the layout tabs listed above will give you that layout with a detailed buffs display. Simple UI Toolbelt v3.0.0 Update The 4 tabs on the toolbelt have been moved under it, renamed, and have new functions now. Default Clicking left side of this layout tab gives the default Simple UI Toolbelt look with just an xp bar at bottom of toolbelt. Clicking the middle of this layout tab adds toolbelt numbers to the toolbelt. Clicking the right side of this layout tab adds temp and elevation info next to the xp bar. Alternate(meant to compliment the radial layout above) Clicking left side of this layout tab gives something similar to the default but toolbelt number backgrounds are round. Clicking the right side of this layout tab adds temp and elevation info next to the xp bar.(minus player temp since radial layout has this) Only two options on this layout since no toolbelt numbers would look same as default. HUD Clicking left side of this layout tab gives vertical stat bars on the side of the toolbelt. Clicking the middle of this layout tab adds toolbelt numbers to the toolbelt. Clicking the right side of this layout tab adds temp and elevation info next to the xp bar. Mini HUD Clicking left side of this layout tab gives small compact stat bars under the toolbelt. Clicking the middle of this layout tab adds toolbelt numbers to the toolbelt. Clicking the right side of this layout tab adds text to the compact stat bars. The last two layouts on the toolbelt above are meant to be used with the "None" tab on the left HUD. The HUD layouts on the toolbelt have a stealth bar that appears on the top center of the toolbelt and extends in both directions. Extra Info There was so much that changed under the hood on this mod that the changelog for those would be too big. Lets just say it got a nice little revision under the hood and now relies heavily on the new templates in it's controls xml I have some new screenshots as well and will try and get them up later. Also Simple UI No Options and Simple UI Toolbelt No Options have not been updated yet. I will get to them soon however they won't really be changing much anyway, mostly just a new buff display and toolbelt number backgrounds. And no I most likely won't be doing a no options version of each of the hud layouts that are now in the regular Simple UI version. The no option versions will most likely stay the classic Simple UI look that is the default in the regular mod version. Github and Nexusmods pages will be updated shortly after this post.
  13. I have thought about it. I'm trying to keep everything existing save friendly though. (All mods should be able to not only be installed but removed without affecting existing saves) So when I do get around to this I most likely would make extra storage containers that have a larger inventory. Might even just replace the vanilla recipe with the new ones, not sure. This way at least it wouldn't affect existing containers. Might be a little though as I'm still a day or two away from finishing up the 3.0 version of the left hud and toolbelt but can look into it after that. Then it will be time for me to catch up on some game playing before coming back for the right side hud so it matches the left
  14. Simple UI v3.0 Coming Soon!!! Just gotta bring the toolbelt up to speed now and run a couple more tests.
  15. Made a little progress. If you click the left side of a hud layout button it will give you that layout with detailed buffs and if you click the right side it gives you that layout with the vanilla buffs. New buff displays might come in a diff update later on.
  16. Default Layout Vertical Layout Radial Layout No Stat Bars Layout (will make more sense once new toolbelt layouts are done) Very early concept of the new left HUD layout options. Everything still needs resized, repositioned, and made to look pretty but should give an idea of where this is going. Also changed the water bar fill color to a light blue since it was basically same color as the stamina bar.
  17. Simple UI Toolbelt Simple UI Toolbelt No Options Everyone seems to hate the tabs being on the side of the toolbelt so how does the above new layouts look instead?
  18. Simple UI / Simple UI No Options Update v2.2.0 [FIX] Food and water no longer bounce between 99% and 100% while overfilling. However you will no longer see 99%. Food and water will go from 98% to 100% and when going down will go from 100% to 98%. This seemed a way better trade off to me then the bouncing between 99 and 100 the entire time you're overfilling. And with that fix there is no longer any known issues with any of the modlets. Under The Hood Changes All the changes below will only affect those who edit the mod. Normal mod users will not be affected by these changes. I made templates for the stat bars and buffs used in Simple UI that can be found in the controls xml. Everything in the windows xml was rewrote using these new templates. The stat bars should actually be much easier to change basic things on now like bar size, content color, icon color, text size, etc... More complex changes though would need the template edited or just the bar itself replaced in the windows xml. Since these elements are used often in the version with options this will make things much easier for me going forward. Simple UI No Options got the same treatment mostly just to keep it in line with the main mod. I've also forced the vanilla Buffpopout to not be visible in Simple UI No Options instead of moving it off screen so that it just never gets rendered.
  19. New Mods Added: Simple UI No Options (NO) - Same default Simple UI look minus any buttons or options Simple UI Toolbelt No Options (NO) - Same default Simple UI Toolbelt look minus any buttons or options Simple UI Vehicle Storage - Increases all vanilla vehicle storages. Simple UI Vehicle Storage XL - Increases all vanilla vehicle storages to 90 slots.
  20. Hahaha, back in this mods origin I used to have to make several versions since everyone was asking for this change or that. Then I got smart at some point and just made it so it could be changed on the fly. Now that I've done that we have come full circle back to no options, the joys of modding 🤣 To answer your question though yeah I will throw together a no options version of the left HUD and toolbelt for those that want the default UI changes without the options. Prob later today or tomorrow. To all I also have a couple vehicle storage mods that will go up at same time.
  21. Ok I removed all A20 modelts from the OP and will no longer be supporting them since A21 is now stable. However they can still be found on github and under older versions at Nexusmods. All modlets now in the OP were made for and work with A21 including A21 stable. I will try and update the screenshot at some point as well as add some more.
  22. Simple UI Toolbelt v2.1.0: -[FIX] Tabs around toolbelt no longer show when using a vehicle. -Another tab has been added to toolbelt so the Simple UI version can be used without the toolbelt numbers. -Simplified the localization text file. New Mods Added: Simple UI Server Info Window - Adds a tabbed server info window that shows when hitting esc. Simple UI VBP Lockable Slots - Adds lockable slots to the vanilla backpack. Simple UI VVS Lockable Slots - Adds lockable slots to the vanilla vehicle storage. Simple UI No Party On-Screen Player Icon (NoPOSPI) -Removes the on screen player icon from party members that shows when within 20m of them. Simple UI No Location Pop-Up (NoLPU) - Removes the giant pop up message panel that appears top center when entering a location. Simple UI No Main Menu News Panel (NoMMNP) - Removes the news panel from the games main menu I've also change the format a little in the OP, hopefully this makes it a little easier to navigate and find mods.
  23. ^Coming in the next update in another day or two. All text and links can be easily edited in the Localization txt included. The xml should be fairly easy to read and edit as well. And I promise, no character frame window controllers were harmed in the making of it 🤣
  24. Simple UI Big Bags Update v2.0.1 -[FIX] added in adjustments for the completed Firemans Almanac book perk. -[FIX] added in adjustments for the Night Stalker Thief Adrenaline book perk. -[FIX A21 Only] Fix for new twitch encumbered debuff so the completed Firemans Almanac perk doesn't override it. -Slightly adjusted position for currency icon and amount in backpack header. -Also added to and cleaned up a few comments in the xml files. Add-Ons Added Simple UI Info Panels 60 - Increases several info panels size to match the 60 slot backpack. Simple UI Info Panels 120- Increases several info panels size to match 120 slot backpack. Both the above new add-ons are meant to compliment the Simple UI big bag mods as they will match the backpacks new window size. However like all the other add-ons they can be used without any other modlets and have no dependencies. All add-ons so far merely adjust window and/or grid sizes and do not replace any vanilla windows at all.
  25. <rect name="content2" depth="0" pos="78, -46" width="147" height="223"> <sprite depth="1" color="[mediumGrey]" type="sliced" on_press="true"/> <grid rows="7" cols="1" pos="3,-3" cell_width="147" cell_height="32" repeat_content="true"> <forge_material name="0"/> </grid> </rect> I think maybe grid row in the above might need to be 6 in the 3 slot forge modlet. <grid rows="6" Hope this helps 👍
