It is more an intended feature. Check out SnowBee's Youtube video about bunker farm. Some people use the bunker to farm hazmat stuff, because of the unlimited respawn. But you can cancel the respawn by destroying these corpsebags on the ground. And that you have screamer hordes is because you use too much range weapons.

Since UL is currently at the update phase. What version do you play ? Do you use other modlets or POI packs (combopack,PEP) ?

PEP is the POI package from Khaine, similar to ComboPack from before. So PEP No-PEP should be explained. What map you use it upto you, depend how much you like to travel. When you play singleplayer you should try smaller one at first.

You allways can lower the quality of the video settings, first turn off shadows, texture quality, particle, Distanceview. There is even a mod that can increase the performace at cities because it change the windows. When you lowered most of them allready and still got bad fps, then you might should think about a different screen resolution (from 4k to 2k, depend on your monitor). Or geting a better videocard, look for videocard rankings, search for your current card and then look what is better that can fit your budget. When you join a server, you have mosttimes lower RAM need then when you play singleplayer, because at MP the server runs the map.

Desktop don't allways need to use more power then a laptop. Serveral gaming laptops use similar power like a desktop system, it allways depend what components are used and what performace you want to reach. When you search for passive or silent systems you will find mosttime powerefficient systems. I don't want say what you should use. But you should have at last 16GB better 32GB or more RAM. 512 GB SSD sound much at first, but games get bigger and bigger even 7d2d need 15GB+ installation. Some gaming websites got a hardware part too, and some even offer some own complete systems and let them sell over big companies like Alternate. Check of these compare with Dell too. Finding a good system for your cash budget isn't an easy task anymore ! 😞

1. why you want a gaming laptop ? For the same price mosttime you would get a better desktop system. 2. (i5-11260h 8Gb) would that mean just 8 Gb RAM ? That isn't enough, you should have at last 16 Gb or better 32 Gb RAM 3. RTX 3050 is much worse then a 2060 and cost more, try to search for videocard ranking, then compare the prize for a single card.

You 100% sure you played on a map with DF prefix or did you just play on a random world with PEP ? When it is a DF map, Khaine need to look into it, because all DF POI should be there. And when it is a random map, from the FAQ RWG (Random World Gen) now works for Darkness Falls, in that it will place POIs in the correct biomes - however (and this is especially true for small maps) it is not guaranteed to place all POIs. If you’re going to use RWG, you must check that the following POIs exist. If not, you can manually place them (although that’s beyond the scope of this FAQ). DFalls_Annas_House - Any non-wasteland city, Khaine prefers forest. DFalls_Eves_Camp - Desert DFalls_Military_Bunker - Snow DFalls_Razors_House - Forest (desert would probably be ok too) DFalls_Resarch_Lab1 - Wasteland DFalls_settlement_caitlin - Wasteland To check if a POI exists, you enable debug mode, then choose POI Teleporter from the in-game menu, then search for DFalls. @DF insane is the real experience has a video showing how to do this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff2vTqGy0fI

When you play at SP, just enable Cheat mode before you start. At the game Press F1 to open the console, type DM for debugmode. Then you can close the console with F1. Then ESC for the ESC menu, you should see POI teleporter, open it. Search for Razor, teleport yourself to it.

Ahh these, yes. But you still need to have some luck with it, not allways you can find a useable car. And I never found any highend car either, just quads,bettle,van and the best was a police car. Not to speak when you find a useable car at a mission POI the POI reset with another useable car after mission activation. Before you get tired of the world you prolly got a container full of spare cars ! 🙂 But since you can't scrap or sell these, beside to have spare vehicles no big deal i think. But i don't like cars much anyway, i prefer motorcycle/quad because of the easy driving through cities.

What version of 7d2d you installed. What version of DF you installed. Does it work before, or it is a new install ? Do you use any other modlets. Did you try to do a complete clean instal ? (Delete Gamefolder, let Steam reinstal it, better create a copy of it and use these for overhaul mods.).

You still need to find a ratchet or Impact driver to craft a repair kit for these vehicles. And these you shouldn't find at early stages. Mosttimes is is easier to build these cars from scratch then to craft a repair kit, since i don't want use my first found impact driver for a repair kit. Ok thats just my expierence from Rebirth overhaul with include VM.

The problems is, 3 block are 1 up 2 to the side. It should be said 3m radius. But maybe someone could work on a visual water overlay someday when you hold a hoe, similar to the poweroverlay! 🙂

You are the expert for that. Just create an overworked Journal entry about Farming and Underground farming. And then send the text to Khaine so he can add/replace it. And at the next release he overwork the whole farming and the text become obsolete ! 🙂

Better search the DF discord channel for more information. But yes you are right many useful informations could add to description or journal entries (maybe there are allready some info at these entries i didn't checked yet).

The only difference to raincatcher are, the raincatcher need to produce the water first. Everytime a plant want to grow up it need water at range and the plant consume the water. While a pipe got unlimited water, you need to have a trench for the raincatcher so it can fill up that trench with water. When you want that all plants grow up at the same speed, you should have plenty of water for them and not 1 1x1 above the raincatcher for 5x5 farmplots. Check out the ricefarming video from snowbee at YT. Sometimes Zombies damage/bug the raincatcher and they don't produce water anymore. Try to repair and pickup them, and place them at the same spot, should fix the problem. While raincatcher and plants only work when someone is at the chunk, you should use the scarecrow that keep the chunk active and let both work.

I can't speak for 4.1.x But previously, you could buy the laser workbench from Jens secret stash as very rare item. I have seen helicopter much more common at Bob then the workbench at Jen. The faction to jen isn't that important more your better barter perk which give you more and better items for the secret stash. Even when Anna don't be at your map, that don't mean the Research Lab isn't there either. At 4.03 you even could get lvl 5 fetch mission to the Research lab similar to Annas mission. But when there is no Research Lab is present at your map the only way is to get it from Jens secret stash. Next time you should check for all DF POIs before you start playing, check for a video to manual add/replace POI to a world so you don't need to create new world over and over. Or use a DF pregen map.

When the power went out some files won't be saved correct and get corrupt. Since on default there isn't any backup, the recovery of that world would be difficult. You can look what files get modified at last , and when they are region files you can try to delete them, but if that would be your homebase it would be gone too. But i don't give you much hope for it. You should take a look at https://steamcommunity.com/app/251570/discussions/1/3077621289885504369/?l=schinese Maybe you find any useable workarounds. When you encounter more power fails, you maybe should consider to use the Backup mod.

Since the image don't show the 7d2d version, do you use 20.6 ? How did you update the mod, just copy/unzip the downloaded stuff to Mods ? I suggest that you complet delete the 7d2d steam installation. At this way you get right of all files they maybe belong to old version. Let steam reinstal the game. I recommend to copy these installation and use it for overhaul mods (at this way steam can't update it). Then copy/unzip the mod files to Mods (you might need to recreate that folder). Verify that all mod folder are at the right structure, not that you have another Mods at Mods or some Darkness-falls-main. The DF mod folder start all with numbers. PEP is a POI-pack assembled from Khaine, similar to the combopack. That would explain PEP noPEP maps. RWG maps can still have the problem of missing DF story POIs (i think). So far i know the modlauncher should work to instal DF too, just be sure you don't use the old 2.x anymore. You need to download the 3.x version since the 2.x don't update to 3.x by itself.
