  1. But Jost Amman is right, it's a taste thing. So just because YOU don't like it, it should be removed. The fact that they made the time to make this armor proves that there are people liking this.
  2. I haven't made any steel tool, spear or weapon this playtrough. Everything I use right now is tier 5 or 6 and all of them I got in loot or from a trader as a quest reward. And I got them wayyyy before I could make any of them myself. And no, I didn't use any skillpoints to change anything for looting etc. So it's fun that I can craft a tier 5 steel spear right now, but I have a tier 6 one for a very long time already. Other example, I didn't spec into shotgun at all. At some point I got a tier 6 auto shotgun as a trader reward. I don't think I could even make a lvl 1 at the time.
  3. THANKS for this! I guess that was the problem, because without the drones file, everything works like it should be again. Weird bug. Thanks again! But, since I don't want to completely give up on finding the drone: With the file still there, I used Debug menu to teleport myself back to the PIO that I cleared for a quest, because all went to @%$# when I drove back to the trader. When I got there, everything was fine again with the FPS, but no drone. Then I used the fly mode to go to the trader again to see if the drone was anywhere on the route there. At some point, all when wrong again FPS wise. Used teleport again to the PIO and FPS was fine again. Guess the drone is truly lost for me. Time to spawn in a new one.
  4. I got some weird bug/glitch that f'ed my savegame it seems. I was just driving on my motorcycle over mountains etc. and all of sudden the game became very choppy/laggy (very few frames). But for some reason I was driving insanely fast on my bike, like 10's of meters in a sec from standing still, but again, very very low frames. So I quit the game, restarted my computer and the bug is still here... so I guess it's in my savegame... Anyone had this and is there a fix for it?
  5. Yeah, did that the first time, because destroying the block was a lot faster, but nothing happened. Then I read somewhere else that you really need to destroy the actual button. But that comment was from someone well over a month ago, even before stable was out. Strange that this is still not fixed. Maybe with 21.1 that's coming out (but I don't think I see it mentioned in the Fixed part).
  6. Are more people having problems with the buttons not working in Fort Camo and the Shotgun Messiah factory (and maybe more PIO's)? I'm playing the factory right now and like with Fort Camo, I see the buttons, but they do nothing, but one seems to operate a door and the next one is I'm guessing for stopping the fire.
  7. I have an idea for an extra option at the trader. Don't know if somebody ever posted this idea on this forum... but... here it goes. When I have made a base at some town, at some point you also go to other towns with other traders and quest there a bit. At some point you have a lot of stuff you want to bring back to your base, but does it all fit for one trip? Most of the time for me, it's a no... Now for the idea. Wouldn't it be great if you could send a package (for dukes of course) with your stuff to another trader (one this is much closer to your base)? Or vise versa, if you want to move your base, send all your stuff to the trader where you want to start your new base. And let's say it takes at least a full ingame day for it to arrive?
  8. Why is such an important feature (in my opinion) of finding your backpack after your death, still so bugged after so many alpha's I played? Again just now. Got killed by a bear, went back to the blue backpack icon and again no backpack. Playing since alpha 15 and every alpha had this problem. Don't understand why this is either such a hard bug to fix, or it's just not being fixed because it's not important enough to spend time on.
  9. Here are the 3 screenshots I uploaded earlier. The first 2 are showing the popping in and out of different PIO's. The 3rd shows a part of a PIO that stays in the same place. In both cases you can walk trough the wrong parts.
  10. Nobody reacted to my post about the overlapping city elements, so I tried some things. - I uninstalled the game and renamed the savegame directory. - Reinstalled the game. But I noticed that the game does still know all your game settings, like controls, video and how you want to run your 'server'. For some reason all of this is not removed when you uninstall the game. - Started the pregen 10k map with a new save. - Went into dev mode and went to the closest big city and found overlaps within seconds. So my question was, is everybody having this problem? And if so, I guess this is known bug or am I for some reason the only one? ps. I also have sometimes trees disappearing. They are still there because I can't walk in those spots. But I had this problem also in A19.
  11. I don't know if this is a bug that many people have and being worked on, but... I was going deeper into the big city I'm having my base at and started noticing that certain parts of the road, small objects etc popped in and out again. Some for a brief second, some for a bit longer and some stayed. It seemed like the new tile system was trying to blend in 2 choices in 1 spot. I'll send in 3 screenshots. Hope that works.
  12. So, I just started playing A20 a few days ago. I always liked the farm bit in this game, even tilling the soil with a hoe and the use of fertilizer a few alphas ago. The Pimps simplified it a whole lot since then (like so many things). But I don't understand what they did in this Alpha... They really made farming a whole lot more annoying. - Why do we have to reseed everything again after you taken the grown plant. I thought this was a good decision to leave the seed in the ground. A real backwards step in the QoL. - I understand it's done because there is a chance of not getting the seed back. How is this a sustainable way of farming?? I was happy to get some potatoes and corn going and now I have nothing again. I don't understand how this decision was made. Let's make farming as crap as we can, so people stay away from that. But now I do get hundreds of bullets from day 1 and very good guns to make without a schematic etc. (The pipe guns are way overpowered to make from day 1, the blunderbuss was at least way less powerful). So I can see where this is all going... let's go for a full FPS with some RPG elements and let's slowly remove all the other things. I wonder how long we can even farm. Removed by the next Alpha? or 2? I said it before... It's always 2 steps forward with a new Alpha in some areas, but it's also always at least 1 step backwards in other areas.
  13. Some of it must be asked and answered before, so sorry if I'm a repeat... but here it goes... Since RWG is changing so much as well as POI's (different ones and the placement), maybe most of these questions are solved because of that. Been playing a new world again a few weeks ago and for a while now I'm almost only getting tier 5 quests, which is getting very (very) repetitive (especially since these are the same from previous alpha's). I have (really) a lot of shamway and shotgun factories and only the smallest of the skyscraper. - Will there be more tier 5 quest buildings? - Will there be a better distribution of all of the different tier 5 buildings? (so not like now, having 5 shamway factories, but not other tier 5 buildings) - Can the Shamway factory get better (end) loot? What I mean is, when I get a new quest from the trader, it's hard to choose for the Shamway factory, when I also get the Shotgun one. I like them both a lot, but the time it takes to complete the quest, it's hard to choose the Shamway one because of the lack of good loot. - And last one, can the quest picking be changed at the trader? Now when you reach a certain level, you only get tier 5 quests, but I'm missing out on some fun lower tier quests or I can't repeat the fun ones. Since I'm higher in level, the zombies in those building will be harder also. Maybe let the player select which tier level they want a quest from? (when you have opened up that tier from leveling up ofc) Thanks for reading and maybe answering.

Why is it with each update, we take a few steps forward, but for some reason we also always have to take some steps back gameplay wise... guess now upgrading of blocks has to take a few steps back... I really don't understand why time has to spend on changing things for something that works, instead of using that time for adding new things or improving existing stuff.
  15. That stats are random within their lvl is fine, great even. That does encourage you to check the stats if it has the same lvl. I had lots of times finding the same lvl tool or weapon and checking the stats. A number of times the stats of the new item were better and I switched them. But when I find a higher lvl tool or weapon, it should ALWAYS be at least 1 point better in the stats then the max stat of the lower lvl one. Because what now? Do I need to spam craft steel shovels in the hopes of making a better one? Wasn't spamcrafting removed from A15 -> A16?... Not to mention that it takes alot of the steel tools parts that I rarely find (but I do got a couple of hundreds of military armor parts for some reason, like so much more then any of the other parts I find, nicely balanced)...
  16. Is this really how RWG works in A19?... like some weird island of forest and the other biomes in a circle around it? Always? And it seems that in alot of the RWG maps there seems to be little to no spawning of real cities etc. in the other biomes. So, there is no real need to go to any of the other biomes. They have really taken weird steps in RGW... sad to see it...
