The point of non bandit NPC What's the point of the NPC's? Do you befriend them, kill them, trade with them? I have some running around near my base that don't really do anything but take forever to kill 1 zombie. Just wondering

The point of non bandit NPC What's the point of the NPC's? You supposed to befriend them somehow or kill them? I have them all over the place (not literally) and the only thing they do is take FOREVER to kill 1 zombie.
