  1. If it's not crashing adding the 16gb is fine. Have you tried ping plotter to see if you have a bunch of packets dropping somewhere between you and the server? Also typical network troubleshooting, rebooting modem/router, using different ethernet cables, switching to wifi hotspot to see if it's better can help it too. Also ensure no "game booster" or the like are running, and if the game/OS is on an old harddrive, you can get a significant boost by using an SSD (if you're taking too long to load/unload files, you can also get disconnected).
  2. Can't hurt to try PingPlotter too (can get a free trial). It gives a ton of information about every hop between you and a server; I used it a while back with another ISP to prove to them there was a problem at one of their nodes and they fixed it up.
  3. Nice! Glad it was easy for you, you're welcome!
  4. You're welcome, good luck! Hopefully you find the culprits quickly. You might want to test this on a new game too just as a tester, just in case the save is ultimately stuck in a broken state (which may lead you to false discoveries)
  5. It could be a plethora of reasons, or it could be the broken mods were slowly adding broken code that eventually added up to where it breaks the game everytime more is added. Sometimes broken code isn't ran all the time and only when it's called, so one of you may have used an item that calls broken code and it'll continually compound with more issues. 2024-04-03T17:51:46 200.800 ERR Loading AssetBundle "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7DaysToDie_Data/../Data/Bundles/Other/Items" failed: Parent folder not found! There are a LOT of these that follow after mods that add/change items break, which means at those points the game couldn't load that entire file otherwise it would crash, so honestly any that you see failing start looking there. Sorry I can't be more help there, you've got a LOT of mods and most of them are breaking, may want to check out the Modder section here on the forums, since they work on mods frequently and may know of compatibility issues.
  6. You've got a lot of mods failing, probably conflicts. Start looking at line 700 and upward, any of them that are failing are your issue areas
  7. View distance, dynamic mesh, shadows, some of the settings on the bottom right hand side in the Video options will help you out there.
  8. Yeah I don't remember the program that did it as it was ages ago, but I did use one for Borderlands 2. Without EAC, you can run 2 copies of the game in the same session, but it'll be a copy of the first player, and there's no support for having both windows focused at once (so you can't control both at the same time). The Steam Deck runs the game pretty well and is reasonably priced, that would be your best bet if you can't get a second computer at the moment. You will need a second copy of the game though, sharing works but won't let 2 accounts play the same game at the same time.
  9. I checked to be sure, but PC never supported 2 sessions on the same PC. Unless you had actually meant the consoles?
  10. A log file pasted to pastebin would be needed here ^^
  11. You're welcome! And thanks for reporting back about the network workaround option not helping, that's a good thing to know. Hope you all have fun!
  12. Try disabling any and all "boosters", especially the "gaming network boosters", I think it's called GameFirst. There's a reason for me asking this, their boosters have been a gaming bane forever now. Also just to be sure, did you try the network workaround option?
  13. It's pretty unfortunate. The Xbox X/S and Ps5 are really about equivalent to a budget-mid-range gaming PC. CPU speeds are a little above minimal requirements for 7 days, but the main killer is memory. With only 16gb, splitscreen wouldn't be able to fit on that, and all 3 consoles use that 16gb for GPU memory and of course the operating systems themselves... so you're not left with much. 16gb sounds like an ample supply of memory, but 32gb is becoming the new 16gb pretty quickly. Just realized Meganoth went over this lol. But yeah, that's a big reason why splitscreen in general is fading out now a days, not the only one, but a big part.
  14. You're welcome! Glad it worked :D, Sorry about the issue, it's a pretty rare bug that can happen, causes a corruption in the profile data. Since we've moved away from that system entirely, it shouldn't be an issue anymore in the future.
  15. Ah that error, sorry that's happening, shouldn't be a thing anymore with A22. So, open the game launcher (from Steam with Show Game Launcher, or go to the main game folder and launch the 7dLauncher.exe in there. Then, click the Tools tab, click Open Settings, and delete the folder that the registry editor opens up to: That should cover it. It will delete your settings and any custom profiles, but that wouldn't affect your saved games (just make sure Persistent Profiles is set to off before loading into a game)
  16. This one doesn't have the error in it. You can search for the error by searching for "Null" or "Object"
  17. You'd need to post the log file to pastebin.com that contains the null exception. %AppData%\7DaysToDie\logs
  18. Biomes aren't disappearing, in fact the burnt forest was put back in rwg.
  19. It's a little finicky at the moment, but use the secondary to suck up/place water for the best results. You can use a console command too if you want by dropping/resizing a z-block (z, with dm on), and enter "swv 1" in the console (use a decimal less than 1 if you want to fill a different size, such as .5 for half)
  20. About 75% of Xbox owners have the S, so it is kind of a large audience that would miss out on it.
  21. If you have one singular value different, it will cause cascading differences indeed. It needs to be the exact seed name, exact size, exact generation parameters. Faatal has done some work with multiple generations of the same seed causing different results for A22, so in theory this should work better in that regard. But, at the moment in A21, there is a high risk of your POI's not being the same with the random gen picking POI's, so if you get some different then yeah, still not good. Best hope is you have a backup of the world -- or get lucky on an exact same generation.
  22. Anytime! If you/khaine need some further advice after looking at it, definitely post back here
  23. Yeah a log file would be needed to diagnose it, use pastebin.com like Sylen said
  24. Based on OP's description and it being a new machine, I'm taking an educated guess that it was a GPU driver, or some system updates that were missing. Could be an antivirus, too. If you're having that same issue though, open up a new post and post a log file
