I think a lot of these issues could be solved with a reworking of the inventory system, to restrict how much a player can carry (via a weight system, and or having items take up a different amount of slots). Like Zztong mentioned above, water is heavy, and having a restriction on how much you can carry especially early game can make things a lot more realistic and immersive. However, an inventory rework is far-off (if even in the realm of possibility) and doesn't necessarily pertain to the discussion at hand, so I digress.

    Exactly, we already have unique Bosses like Grace (Although she could use a bit of a touch up and better AI), why not add more? The simple bullet sponge approach to bosses doesn't really seem too fun.

    Really? I had no idea. Guess there's a lot of hidden gems within the POI files. What's the name of the prefab?

    Thanks for bringing this up again, this was in the process for Alpha 20 iirc. I would hope that this would be included in some manner for Alpha 21.

  5. I saw earlier in the thread you were working on making older prefabs compatible with Alpha 20. There are a couple in particular that I like and tried to get working, but found out how they having missing blocks and the like. If you are still working on incompatible prefabs, would you mind taking a look at these two?

    Below is one of Pille's prefabs, a bunker, which also has missing blocks. He's not too active in the prefabbing scene as of recent, so I don't expect to see him working on this anytime soon-

    The zip file, entitled "Mods" was empty, when the download link worked.

  8. Currently, vehicles with weapons are being worked on by @Zilox, so far he's finished the Apache Helicopter with a working missile launcher, and is finalizing his work on an APC with a mounted explosive launcher.

     

    As for if the Devs have any interest in doing something like this, I remember faatal awhile back saying that it was possible, but not their priority right now. Could be wrong, though.
