  1. You have to turn EAC off to run the mod.
  2. Icons are being added as Spider has time (when he's not squashing major bugs). Prep Table can be constructed on the Workbench and needs no schematic/unlock. Wood frame block variants should unlock after the 1st level of the 'Wood Building' quest is done (miscellaneous tab of skill screen). The other stuff is missing (mostly schematics or other paths to enable players to acquire tools/tables).
  3. You don't need a profession key at any time. You can just punch the profession box to unlock it. The plank recipe is a reward for completing the 'working with wood' quest line. It can be tough to learn/build a defensive building in time for the 7 day horde. I usually just find the tallest POI building in my area and crouch/hide/fight at the highest point on that building. Some nights i don't encounter a single zombie.
  4. @Vormithrax- I swear some of you guys must just log on to the forums and without reading absolutely anything just start posting. I don't have the time or energy to respond/answer the same question over and over on every page. Please read before posting. At the very lest you could read my updates/post. @owl79- -Again another person that refuses to read my post. Why do I even bother responding if your not going to take the time and read? 10 Post before yours and on the same page no less is your answer. Spider I do read the posts/updates to keep up to date. Your most recent update message did NOT say "Hey folks all the tools are currently broken and i am working on it!" Your message just asked for some help regarding some xml files problem, and yes i did notice that it regarded toolcategory items. That's why i asked in my message if the broken tools problem i was reporting had to do with that part of your message. Your message was unclear/incomplete and i needed clarification so i could stop wasting my time in game testing it. I understand that you get alot of repeat/useless requests but Owl79 and I have been reporting real bugs/problems and don't deserve the grief over this miscommunication.
  5. Are the building material tools still broken when trying to destroy their associated blocks? Or is it just me having that problem since the last update? Can someone confirm/deny so i know if its a problem on my end? When i now try to destroy a block the tools are only hitting for 1-4 durability per swing. A level 450 claw hammer is taking 50 swings to destroy a simple wood block. The other tools are having the same problem (although for some reason the scrapwrench was able to deconstruct one type of metal duct on a roof but none of the other types). Is this part of the toolcategory problem Spider listed above?
  6. I tried deleting and reinstalling the mod with no change. I believe the other material tools (brickhammer, concrete hammer, etc) are having the same problem, although i don't have as much experience with them and their associated materials under this new system to be certain. All my testing is being done on single player games, not the community server btw.
  7. Same thing happened to the quests/journal entries in my existing game. A new game had the full list as usual. Something has also happened to the claw hammer operation. It no longer breaks down wood materials like it did before. I can create/upgrade a wood frame with no problem. But if i try to disassemble that wood block with the claw hammer it only removes 1 point of durability at a time (using lvl 95 hammer, a 490 hammer does 4 durability per swing). Something changed/broke with the recent patch.
  8. In the "Learning to build with wood" quest: Step one is to get a claw hammer, step two is to use the hammer to collect 1000 planks from wood blocks in the world. Step three then asks you to use those 1000 planks to build 100 wood frames. The problem i am seeing is that while collecting the 1000 planks you do not get anywhere near enough nails to build the 100 frames. I collected 1000 planks and only ended up with about 50 of the 500 nails the next step requires. Would it be possible to increase the nail drop rate a bit from those wood blocks or is it intended that players be level 15 with access to a forge/anvil and the purchased nail recipe before realistically doing this series? Since the final quest reward is the recipes for nails and planks that doesn't seem correct but the current nail drop rate is WAY low compared to the planks. One final note for people starting this quest chain: the last quest in the chain has you place and upgrade the 100 frames you built. This will require an additional 1000 planks. So when you are out hammering away to get the raw materials, keep going until you hit 2000 planks and 500 nails so you have enough to finish all the following quests.
  9. I assumed it was intended to be a more dangerous version of the pig otherwise whats the point of having a separate model? It's fine if it won't attack on sight, but it should at least run away. Currently it acts like a friendly pig in a petting zoo. You can walk right up to it and smash it in the head with ZERO danger. If i hear one make its grunting noise nearby i immediately run around looking for my free lunch.
  10. The new version of the pig, the big hairy Boar, is basically free easy food. It does not run or attack with proximity to the player. You can walk right up to it and kill it easily with any weapon. I assume this isn't intended behavior.
  11. i REALLY REALLY RREEAALLLYYY hate running versions of soldier zombies. 15 or so hits to the head with a level 230 bone shiv to kill it. seriously dangerous combination of run speed and a helmet protecting his brain. On a separate note: is it intentional that storage sacks cant be picked up like other bags/backpacks? Hitting it with an axe gives 10 or so cloth instead of picking it up so you can move it. - - - Updated - - - ScrapWrench=ScrapIronBlocks
  12. Here is the section of output.log from just before the error starts. Once the NRE hits that part just repeats until i shut the game down. I had the same error occur a short time later while i was flying around in god mode just checking out the new POI's. 2017-09-05T16:20:05 4334.636 INF AIDirector: Spawning scouts @ ((-78.0, 49.0, 1926.0)) heading towards ((8.0, 51.0, 1858.0)) 2017-09-05T16:20:05 4334.685 INF Spawning this wave: 1 2017-09-05T16:20:05 4334.701 INF Spawned [type=EntityZombie, name=zombieScreamer1, id=1708] at (-83.5, 49.7, 1923.5) Day=8 TotalInWave=1 CurrentWave=1 2017-09-05T16:20:05 4334.702 INF AIDirector: scout horde zombie '[type=EntityZombie, name=zombieScreamer1, id=1708]' was spawned and is moving towards point of interest. 2017-09-05T16:20:06 4335.736 INF Start a new wave 'Scouts'. timeout=1s. worldtime=0 2017-09-05T16:20:17 4346.473 INF Spawning Wandering Horde. 2017-09-05T16:20:17 4346.474 INF AIDirector: Spawning wandering horde moving towards player '[type=EntityPlayerLocal, name=Vormithrax, id=171]' 2017-09-05T16:20:17 4346.475 INF Party with 1 player(s) has a computed game stage of 20 2017-09-05T16:20:17 4346.475 INF Party members: 2017-09-05T16:20:17 4346.475 INF Player id 171 gameStage: 20 2017-09-05T16:20:17 4346.511 INF Spawning screamer horde zombie from animalZombieDog NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at EntityGroups.GetRandomFromGroup (System.String _sEntityGroupName) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AIWanderingHordeSpawner.KU (.World , Single ) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AIWanderingHordeSpawner.Update (.World world, Single dt) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AIDirectorWanderingHordeComponent.OT (Single ) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AIDirectorWanderingHordeComponent.Tick (Double _dt) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AIDirector.FU (Double ) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AIDirector.Tick (Double dt) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at World.OnUpdateTick (Single _partialTicks, ArraySegment`1 _activeChunks) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at GameManager.DA () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at GameManager.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  13. Got an infinite repeating NRE in the console while cleaning out some screamers immediately following my day 7 bloodmoon. "INF Spawning screamer horde zombie from animalZombieDog"
  14. Enjoying the new version of the mod! Here are a couple things i found that need fixing in recipe or skill descriptions: Research Table: Profession Page : the description says you need 20 pages but you only really need 10 (these are the scrapped skillbook pages) Skills : Science/Engineering : Woodbuilding : The description says you learn nails/planks at level 10 but the quest chain only has 3 levels to complete and you learn the nails/planks recipes when the 3rd one is finished. On a separate note: I started three different games in single player and in every game i had a buzzard attacking me before i could even get my profession chosen. Two of those games also had NPC/Bandit's attacking me in the first couple minutes. Maybe i just got really unlucky in the random gen but this seems pretty harsh if it were to happen to someone completely new to the mod.
  15. Just got logged into the test server to try the new version out and everything seems to be working so far. Survived 1st day but i will need to do a careful review of the changes before i get back in. Btw, is it just me, or does anyone else feel like their character is about 3 feet tall? this is the first time i have logged in since the A16 update and while i am liking most of the graphical changes my character seems incredibly short compared to the pre-A16 version. i am finding this very disturbing and was wondering if it was just me feeling this way or am i missing something.
