  1. I started out as a "Miner" where I read crucible schematic but now after couple of days I cant craft the crucible - It says I need a perk. On the other hand I bought a lockpick perk, but I also can't craft them since it says I require a book from Heist series. So is this double lock intended or is just a minor bug? EDIT: I just noticed all of these can be crafted normally in the vanilla workbench, I tried to craft these in HD workbench - where is doesn't work.

  3. Yesterday I found a "minor bug" with forged steel. I spent a point in Steel tools early on in the game to unlock the forged steel in forges ( reading the steel tools schematic doesn't unlock it ). So i was playing normaly and than the other day I had bunch of notes and made me builder class and finished the quest line. During this quest line you get 3 points in forge tree. But to my surprise it "locked" my previously steel tools perk and I was unable to make steel in forges. So I spent additional 2 skill points to level it to 5/5 in Forge tree to unlock the steel again. Check what went wrong with this - probably some priorities the game uses.
  4. I have a question regarding Farm plot - just unlocked farmer class - and i presumed farm plots won't need a water. But it looks like they do - so what is the point of farm plot being locked behind farmer class if they still need rain catcher in the middle like old school tiled dirt?
  5. Is gyrocopter disabled as it was in A17? because I see the recipes saying you need grease monkey and bicycle for dumb♥♥♥♥s... I have them all, but still can't craft the thing? P.S.: which perks gives you +dmg for grenades? is it under Scientist class? And what skill gives you that 20% chance to break ores instantly - I know I had it in previous playthrough? is it 100 mining skill? I do miss those book collections - they add lots of randomness to the game
  6. 1. Its called Tool & Die set - you can buy it from traders ( keep an eye out for wandering traders on the map - they are usually stocked with these - leveled Better Barter helps ) - it is used for making ammo 2. All mastery skills are locked behind lvl 50 and completed chain quest

Khaine, Steel in Advanced forge is locked behind Steel tools perk - reading schematics doesn't unlock it, you have to buy the perk to unlock it - and that unlocks forged steel recipe in adv. forge. Also there are few bugs with world gen ( comparing to DF in A17 ) 1. So far only ore I find in the ground is Iron and Shale in the desert - but other ores are really rare ( I only found few small pockets of nitrate under the boulders - like 3000 and NO COAL ) Its not game breaking since you can buy these from traders, but I don't think its intended. 2. Whole ore system is sort of messed up - you only get surface pockets ( 90% of that is iron ), but underneath there are hardly any ores - used admin tools to dig 1 km long tunnel near bedrock and only found 2 pockets of iron down there. And as said earlier hardly any other ores, no titanium as well. 3. World gen, doesn't create any burned forests, or snow biomes ( tried few new worlds after upgrading to exp 2.4 ) but same result. I assume military bases POI's aren't implemented yet? ( in burned forest and wasteland? And these observations are results of gameplay currently sitting at day 42, lvl 102. So at these stages you start to need some gunpowder to get by on horde nights I don't know how far are you with implementing everything, but just added these here just in case.

  9. Hey Khaine, there is a bug in Advanced Forge - Steel can't be crafted in it ( equiped witch cruicible ). In big forge there is no problem making steel.
  10. I can start any class except Hunter and survivalist - It says you cannot accept this quest at this time?
  11. You need to be lvl 100 and unlock titanium crafting to make titanium ingots in advanced forge. Titanium can be found on the surface in wastelands or around 10 blocks above bedrock. Usually Titanium is "mixed" with lead in forest biome - thats where I usually go look for it. Sometimes it can be evasive so visit wasteland if unlucky for surface nodes, but be prepared for lots of zombies ( all ferals, irradiated and legendary ). Best to go there at night and sneak mine it - do recon during the day
  12. Khaine said portals are respawning. For me they did respawn but at different location.
  13. Khaine I believe fruit trees gives too much wood - I think it would be better if you only get fruits and no wood. Now you plant 20 apple trees and you have piles of wood in no time. No need for regular trees.

  15. I noticed that this error doesn't happen if I just press "X"(close window) when it asks me about the location for mod file location at the beginning. Any way to set a folder in settings ( I cant open setting from the menu though ). Oh and when I pressed disable SSL same error popped up.
  16. I haven't disabled anything, I just installed it and left everything at default, haven't touched a thing.
  17. Hi, I started getting this error message from microsoft .net framework. I repaired .net framework ( 4.7.2 ver. ), but same error pops up even after repair. I started getting this error after upgrade to .83 version couple of days ago.   18. The reason why I could't find any of those bunkers was because I was looking for them in the wasteland - but they were in radiation zone only. Quite an adventure in squeeshy full hazmat suit After that I found 1 smaller version in burned biome in a well ( like 5 km away ) I was using old map before you made some changes. And those portals - those are nasty little "cute flying behemoths" - took me awhile to realize those portals weren't meant for traveling to friendly dimensions lol. And when I destroy them - do they respawn later?
  19. Completely uninstall/delete also all remaining files of 7d2d vanilla in steam, and uninstall and delete all files of DF mod. Than reinstall, preferably when installing DF2 do it under new path name. Than it will work again - its how I've done it.
  20. And there is another one you need in Radiation zone ( you need full hazmat suit set so you get radiation protection ) - looks like bunch of army tents ( A16 like made from cloth blocks ). And under one of the smaller green tents is a steel hatch which leads down into the bunker. I ll make some screens and pop them here. I think it may help to many players who are looking for a bunkers.
  21. I went on internet and looked for bunker thing... Its in a burnt forest in water well underground. And fancy equipped with sciency stuff and desks - which contains futuristic schematics.
  22. Khaine I presynced the mod ( after a week or so ) and now crafting time everywhere is always at 00:00 so near instantaneous. Forge, personal crafting, workbenches - same Poof and its crafted. bad download or something got overwritten during the upgrade? P.S. I also noticed ability to craft any forge now is gone - like advanced forge, steel tools... are unlocked but turned red.
  23. Thats mean P.S. And the big bunker you mean "vanilla" military silo base or the big bunker as the military base with tank on top ( the one with 48 hidden stashes ceiling? ), or the big bunker under the house. I did all 3 of them today and didn't find any forges ( or research notes from loot ).
  24. Khaine, I think there is a contradicting recipe in future tech tree. To craft Fusion forge you need 5 Energy cells. To Craft an Energy Cell you need enriched uranium, which you need to craft in Fusion Forge. I also did 2 military silos and a POI bunker house with bunch of lab zeds. I looted all the boxes and containers and not a single research note ( Quality Joe 5/5 - so I pulled them from creative menu to test things out. Are drop chances intended as ultra rare drop? Or maybe a little glitch in xml drop %?
  25. So where do you get future technologies book? I checked creative menu and i see there is a book. How do you unlock unlock it or where to find it? I've been driving around radiation zone and killing demon zombies ( irradiated, cops and regular ones on fire ), yet they only drop regular loot. Is there a quest chain or something? OH and I forgot to ask before: Keycards - are they a thing or not yet implemented?
