  1. The game itself can only support 15 unsupported blocks on any side, that's a hard coded value it seems.
  2. Very little has changed between Alpha when it comes to XML modding. The only major thing that changed is where to put new icons for things. Just check out this mod for the directory structure.

    PolishedSteelMod

I put out a A18 version of this same thing, why resurrect an old thread? https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?130484-MODLET-A18-Stainless-Steel-Again
  4. Best way I learn is by example. Check out other mods and vanilla files and/or my tutorial video here: XML and xpath is actually easy to work with, just a little understanding of structure is all you need.
  5. Sure, remove the recipe and add the steel polish to the trader resource lists. Then add the EconomicValue property to the steel polish item and make it as expensive as you want it to be.
  6. Looks of the Titanium? That's not even in the game.
  7. 20K, about 4 demolishers can go off before you need to panic. This value, naturally, can be changed in the materials.xml in the mod.
  8. Here's a small mod I put together to bring Stainless Steel back to the upgrade path after Steel. Adds a new SteelPolish item craftable in the chemistry station. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mRR1r6S6vHaWGMcYYRC2RmKkwYOGtLe_ Also, to make it actually worth it, I made Stainless Steel blocks tougher, both in HP and explosive resistance. Those new explody zombies are brutal to a base. Unzip into your mods directory.
  9. I haven't, been responding to most questions on my Discord. And to respond to the first post on this page, he needs an xml tag wrapping the entire mod, like this <somenamehere> <append...> </append> </somenamehere>
  10. In your "insertAfter" there's an error. <buff name="buffIllFoodPoisoning3 hidden="true"> You're missing a " after the buff name.
  11. I have a video explaining how to install mods. Also, why was this removed from sticky-hood?
  12. Well my attempt at getting harmony to mess with the assembly at run time failed.
  13. How do you get the DLL file to load on the server. I can't seem to get the dedi server to load MY dll file. I keep getting this error: 2018-12-21T20:19:28 0.291 WRN [MODS] Not loading DLL, only supported on the dedicated server build Even though it IS the dedicated server running. I used your mod as an example and am using the GameStartDone mod event.
  14. Just include the harmony dll file and use it in your mod, where you inherit the mod object and make your changes at run-time.
  15. Use Harmony to edit the assembly in real time, thus eliminating the need for a new version for every update.
