ok, I think I figured it out.. sort of stupid actually..

for some reason the launcher was not the current version and was not asking to update.

it was version 1.0.4.6, hey what do I know that it needed a new version. I uninstalled it.

and deleted every thing left over from that version.

and got version 1.0.5.2 running and now it will do the sync without errors.

I had the dot net install 4.7.2 etc before.. for what ever reason nothing indicated it needed a newer launcher version.

My older downloaded mods appear to work,

anything new I do this is whats in the log, the actual Mod is not downloaded (tried with and without SSL, and Mirror)

That are no more weapon books. You need a weapon workbench to assemble / disassemble guns.

 

I feel stupid now... I should have remembered that.. I had been playing vanilla 16 for too long.

We have been playing for quite a while, but none of us have found any GUN books, has this changed in some way from before.

CrossBows etc we have found books. But nothing on Guns in BookStores. Been checking Military camps too and no luck.

Some clue would be nice if you know what was changed. We have hit level 100 and still not found any.
