No change when ssl was checked and nothing with direct download.

TempFolder says 639 bytes. So nothing got downloaded. SSL is unchecked.

Everything was deleted. So thinking maybe it was just gonna take awhile, I have had the mod launcher now trying to download/install Darkness Falls Experimental now for 7 hours. Its stuck on refreshing Mods and there is something about Performing Full Clone.

You would b correct on that, but I was trying to download the experimental version that came out the other day. That was the never ending presync. I was gonna work around it by downloading another version of 18 via the mod launcher and manually applying Darkness Falls experimental. That is where the 16.4 came from. So basically, Latest Version is downloading 16.4 and Darkness Falls Experimental is never actually downloading it seems.

Having a really weird issue with the launcher and downloading the new darkness falls version for 18. It seems to get stuck on actually downloading it. I had it going for an hour at one point and just kept doing the pre sync thing. So I then tried downloading A18 stable via the launcher and it got 16.4 instead. I have deleted anything mod launcher related several times and the issue continues. I had a couple of others try as well, same thing happened with them. I ended up having to make a copy if my steam install and add Darkness Falls that way to check it out. Not sure if this is something on my end or something else going on since its been a few days since the Khaine put the update out and no one else is reporting this. I didn't see anything in the logs either that would help, but if you need it, I can get you it.

Correct, I had a buddy say that when he downloaded it via that method, Stable was coming out as 18.1.

Hey man, seems the option to download Alpha 18 stable on the mod launcher, is downloading the 18.1 experimental version instead.

Anyone else having issues Generating maps with the b149? I get an Out of Bounds Array error. Using the latest version of Nitrogen as well. Also, seems to be trying load b139's world file. Wondering if b149 had some RWG updates that means Nitrogen needs an update? Update, tried an 8k map and besides it loading a b139 world file, it loaded up fine. Seems anything above that is causing errors.

I can report that worked. My guess something got corrupted outside of the files I normally keep cleaned up. Would explain never getting advanced mode to work and the trouble I have been having. Thanks for all your help and if I run into anything else I will be sure to let you know.

Ah wait, you are saying delete everything and basically reinstalling the game. I was just deleting a few folders I thought were touched by the mods. I will try the full install and then the advanced mode and report back.

I actually tried that approach as well and the game does not even start to run. In fact, even before all this, I have never gotten the advanced mode to work.

Well one thing I noticed is that I was playing Valmod Overhaul with Comp Pack. Does not look like you did different files for that area. I noticed you did different ones for just the overhaul and expansion areas. So I tried launching the non backpack versions there and still got a few seconds run time from the game before it shut down. http://pastebin.com/5a7mCHKZ and yes, this is the latest version you put out last night.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but is still not working for me. Game runs a few seconds and then closes.

I, also, have been having the same issue. Does not seem to be related to just valmod. No mod will work. I suspect the log files are the same. Wondering if a redownload of the launcher might be a quick fix? Thinking maybe something got messed up.
