I just encountered the same thing below my base (and yes I have the land claim boundaries showing too). So I'm wondering if the land claim protected region also has a fixed height above and below the land claim block? If so, does that mean zombies can spawn in a tunnel far enough below your base? Or, I guess, if you built a high tower base, they could still spawn high enough above the land claim block. Bug or feature...? -
