  1. Wellness is dramatically lowered in this mod, but we are going to be raising them a bit for the next patch. I will check on those quests. Make sure those items have the ! on them as there are similar items that are scrap only
  2. Thank you for the kind words. It means a LOT to me. We have had some try to say this mod is awful and does not work recently. I hold your comment in the highest regard as proof that you CAN get it to work if you have patience. It is a very loaded mod but you can try to set UMA settings down to low and textures to half quality. This may improve performance for you. We have been trying to track this issue down. we thought we had fixed it, but it seems we have not. There will be a patch later today that will not require any wipes but hopefully it DOES fix this issue. I'm sorry you are having so many issues. I have 8g of Ram and and Nvidia 750TI with an I3 processor and i develop the mod and see only a few stuttering issues. Why is this? Who really knows. Things work different for everyone. This is a resource heavy mod no question. A17 will bring Unity optimizations and hopefully larger mods like this will be something everyone can enjoy free of such issues. I will be adding antibiotics to a few more places but the goal is to force players to be VERY careful in managing their buffs and in combat. Antibiotics are supposed to be a very rare find, I mean how often does Rick and company get a cure to the virus on Walking Dead? My server community has also cursed me out enough lol. Im relenting, antibiotics will be increased a bit in next patch. And thank you for the bug report I will have that fixed in today's update. There MAY be a possible fix in the works that can help here! We arent 100 percent sure it can work but it is being worked on at the very least. A17 SHOULD have some fixes for this as well. Stay Tuned You have to dig a little deeper. Just because something is a mod doesn't mean it will have it. There are a number of causes, including the bag size and how MANY recipes there are. I have a LOT of recipes because I add a lot of items. So you may not see it in every mod but in mods like mine and Walkers you will see it more. We are looking at a pretty big update today, so be prepared. It should not require a new save or a wipe. But of course it never hurts just because loot has been balanced and readjusted and there are some new vehicles in the world. Should be out in a few hours.
  3. Sorry for the slow response time, weekends are usually family time unless something happens Will check on the wrench for you. Also the fire axe may have a slight delay but the swing animation probably occurs. I will check on it though and if it is hinky I will switch it back to default for now. Can you please be more specific? There is nothing game breaking, and for a mod that has been in hard production for about 4 months I think we have done pretty well considering Starvation has over 2 years of production and bug fixing time. I try my best to check this thread hourly and fix any bug that people come across. If that is seen as a BAD thing then I apologize for being an attentive modder who actually listens to player feedback. It is a rare loot item only It does but with so many recipes it can still be very heavy. Using favorites is the best way to help this. We are looking into reworking the recipes and dropping a few or consolidating a few to ease this pain.

The tire iron only harvests cars. Check to see if that is working, it doesn't harvest things like stove or electric panels.

  6. and What I want most to understand is that I LOVE this community. Not even just the 7 Days community but the modding community. Everyone for the most part has always been very helpful and kind to me. I hope that I can one day be as generous to others as they have been to me. My opening post got edited. It was MUCH longer. But word limits and the fact i only reserved 3 posts made me edit a lot of things. It is true I never gave Sergant credit but it wasn't because I was trying to be a tool or hiding anything. I specifically state in the open that not every single thing in this mod is by me. I try VERY hard to keep track of whose is whose. And i also make sure I at least ask the person before hand that I may be using something. If I haven't I apologize. I'm not going to get into a sob story but I will summarize VERY briefly. When I first started this mod I was in a bad place in life. After finding solid people like Guppy and Stallion on the old IRC channel we all talked about how great it would be to have a server for all of us forum people to meet up in. Well I dove into learning servers and made one. While it never became anything official it opened up a gateway for me to meet some incredible people. Months into it I experienced a heart attack, and the people I met on the server became friends. They were there for me in ways I can't even describe. EVERYTHING I do in this game is for our server first and foremost and that may sound stupid and cliche but it is true. If not for my wife and for the people of this game I do not know where I would be. It has given me purpose, because it is something I can share with others. That server still runs today. As part of our identity we began using Valmod and then War of the Walkers 2 years back. We had 2 servers but the community was divided. So i merged both mods. I removed some stuff we did not like, i tweaked a lot of things we did like. Then I began creating my own stuff. So we added that into this mash up. Over the two years we have been playing our server we have wiped dozens of times to test new things out. I have added so much both from the community and from my own knowledge. Some of the assets at one point were used with permission of Pacco or were releases made by Morte. These have since been incorporated into Starvation so that muddied the waters even more for me in making sure I do not use certain things. What was once ok to use was now not and that was a lot of work to go back and remove what was previously public. But we did it because we do not ever intend to piss anyone off. When I read something in Tins post about sight scale or about adding fog, i try it out. Im certain i got the idea of how to balance trader mark ups from SOMEWHERE but I don't remember where. I know for a fact I used Clockworks dupe fix, might have pasted the code he posted in his thread. But after years of things like that how is it possible to keep track of every single idea or change? It is VERy hard so I try to credit who I can with what I remember. We all make tweaks such as this. We add things to our server almost daily to see what works for us. The code becomes part of the server. 2 years of things like this. We tried out some SDX mods, and when we could we used some models for things already in our game like plastic bottles or decorating stations. About 4 months ago I got HEAVILY into making my own Unity Mods. I have over 500 dollars of PURCHASED Assets, over 110 models in my unity currently. Because I LOVE this game and i LOVE this community I started to release my mods individually so anyone could use them as they saw fit. All i wanted was a credit. Xyth, sphereii, Pacco ALL incredibly generous to me with their time and insight. sphere and xyth have both been extremely generous in making models for me and the community to use. Xyth even filled some requests. My hope is to be just like them, to make anything anyone could want. But doing all this, yes some things slip by when it comes to credit. My greatest wish is a community that bands together and shares ideas and if anything I have done is detrimental to that I wholeheartedly apologize. I'm a nothing. A nobody. I made a mod, I bought some assets. The mod isn't even good in my opinion. I see a LOT wrong with it. And I thank each and every one who are enjoying it. It brings me a lot of happiness to know I can contribute something to someone's enjoyment of this game. I may be critical of 7 Days at times but is truly the second love of my life behind my wife. The most important thing that people need to remember is this was never intended to be a mod for the public. It kind of just happened because people found it on the Launcher and started playing it. So there is a lot I may miss when it comes to credit over the years for influences and if I do please just let me know and I will make sure I properly credit you or remove anything you are not comfortable with being in the mod. I may have gone way too much into detail over this, but Guppy will tell you I can be "emotional" at best. I genuinely will never ever intentionally steal anything, and I certainly mean no harm by throwing my name into the modding hat. There is a lot I need to learn still, and I thank everyone for the patience in dealing with me and understanding in the fact that I am not perfect and can always be better. My apologies for such a long winded post, but I just wanted everyone to know where I am coming from with all of this so people can hopefully understand that I am not trying to take any credit for things that are not mine.

  9. You can go into the dll and edit it yourself, and also the associated windows.xml and loot.xml but that is a lot of work. I personally am not going to be making backpack mods of other sizes. Way too much work. They each would need a new ui, then we need server versions and 21 day versions. You're easily looking at 4 more versions of the dlls at least.   10. I appreciate the support but unfortunately i can NOT advise or give permission to host the files somewhere on your own. If i release updates and people get older file from you they will surely come here and post bugs and blame the mod. For this reason alone I advise to please NOT host files for anyone anywhere else. There are direct links in the main post of this thread for this very reason. Feel free to link them to those files if it helps them as they are being updated right along with the Launcher versions.

We have helped dozens of other players who could not get the install done properly get into the game and we would love to help you as well. The files themselves are fine as there are a large number of players who are not having any issues including our community on our server. We would love a chance to help you and your friends enjoy the mod.

Im not sure what advice I can offer on that front except...download the zip and drop the files onto the server. - - - Updated - - - Im not entirely sure what the issue could be but it sounds like you MAY have spawned inside water?

  15. Yep, its because i copy and paste the localizations to keep them in line with the format. Maybe this is a terrible mistake on my part. I assume that if he uses another language he sees the same title because it is copied from the Weapon Smithing perk. If i were to leave that blank and use only the English would he see French AND english mixed together? Checked the picture again and it answered my question. I will look into getting the languages that do not belong removed.
  16. This is what i was saying. I would need someone to translate ALL of that to french and i do not know french so it copies the english names. The language you see there, i have to add it all myself for it to show up. And i have no way of doing that
  17. there are things in creative which will bug things out because they have not been removed yet. You learn the extenders and silencers via the different gun parts perks in classes. There's no recipe book and that is probably why that book gave you everything as it is no longer in use in game. - - - Updated - - - you can take a screenshot in game with f9 or f12 if you like so i can see it. yes a shot would be good as we do not have this issue on our server

Unfortunately my only skill in ;language is English and I have no one who can convert for me - - - Updated - - - Thank you Mez, words like this inspire me to create more. I am very happy that you are enjoying it. The craft tool parts skill is mainly used to impact the speed and quality of the tool parts like chainsaw blade and auger parts etc. It does not have an impact on your normal tools or the heads. The double ammo table is most likely an oversight I will correct that in the next patch. Keep enjoying and keep leaving as much feedback as you can. The more feedback i get the better the mod will become.
  19. Yes unfortunately body damage was removed from the weapons to achieve headshots on all entities.
  20. Unfortunately the only way to get the Night Terrors to you is to release them from the start. On our server they are part of timed events. Every 21 days I release some event like Night Terrors or Wilderness increases etc. That's great when I control the server and XML but there is no way to do this sort of thing for you on the consumer end yet. Hopefully Pimps put in timed events of some sort so I can add something like that and have timed releases for certain spawns. - - - Updated - - - Thank you! And i agree. We would love to get more options for things like being able to spawn players in POIs based on quests etc. Every Alpha Pimps add more code so we can do more but sometimes they do take away. My hope is that a lot of code gets added for us modders to play with before they go Gold and then you will see the mod scene really explode with big ideas!
  21. Yes, among other things progression will be getting a slight rework when it comes to stations and such. Lots of balances in loot. We are compiling a more realistic list of what you can craft and what would be something you would have to go and scavenge. We will be adding more quests in as well. I have a list of a few and also classes will be getting more of a rework (medical class is going to be the first making some things medic class exclusive like how farming is) but without revealing much I am working on new models for zombies with more special type abilities for horde nights. More boss like types. Gamestages will be getting a rework so the hordes in both wandering and blood moon will see more special type zombies the higher you go. I would like to make farming more interesting as well. And something people WANT to do as opposed to just doing it because it is there. I'm glad you picked up on the green tea thing. Farming is seen as "healthier" so wellness boost will be tied more into farming in the future One thing we want to rework is some pois. We are going back and forth over some stations being POI specific, like the ammo bench would be found oNLY in garages so there would be risk in going out to make ammo instead of crafting it afk in bases. There's some more but I want to leave some of it to surprise for when it is announced. Late game has always been a pet peeve of mine. We wanted to get beginning and mid game polished a bit before looking at endgame. But those days are coming. I have over 110 purchased assets. More than half are unused so yes, we have plans for sure
  22. Without sounding too mean you would be surprised at what some do not want to do. They wanted a link to the server versions and only the server versions....Trust me yes it would be VERY easy for me to maintain 1 version of each mod. And they wanted it labelled as such. I supposed i could still label it dedi download on here and maintain it as a SP version and include both dlls. And just see what happens. YOLO! - - - Updated - - - I have seen others reporting XP gains that make no sense as well but I have not seen it myself or on our server so I can't seem to reproduce this. I am looking into it to see if there is anything i can do. Medicine levels passively as you make medical items and unlocks recipes.
  23. i added this fix, thank you. i never realized the disabled weather effect was being stopped due to the apple error. Files have been uploaded to the launcher to fix this and some other small non game breaking issues - - - Updated - - - AWESOME! I did indeed add this. Will snag this model. You are amazing!

  25. My apologies. The wooden bow and all primitive type weapons and tools like the shiv and stone axe and shovel are all controlled by the primitive tool craft skill This allows everyone to have access to the basic set of tools and weapons. Bow Skill controls the craft quality of everything else, iron crossbow, repeater, iron bow etc.
