  1. Actually, there are a number of groups out there trying to clone or recreate a number of extinct creatures. Just think of them as some groups project that they let loose once they realized that they were going to turn and didn't want them to starve.
  2. That's the problem, I didn't know about the water. I'll need to rework the farm then. Thanks for the info.
  3. Is there a bug with plants growing? I have the non experimental version and the game runs fine but plants I have planted don't seem to be growing. Only a few moved from seed to growing plants and some of them have been planted for 12 in game days at 60 minutes a day. The funny thing is, the two corn that moved to growing weren't the two oldest corn plants that I planted. There were two corn plants that I planted a day before these. I did hoe the ground with a scrap iron hoe if that makes any difference.
  4. Thanks, just tried the regular nailgun. To make the battery bank, you need to have level 10 in intelligence and level 5 in one of the skills under that which says it will allow you to craft the battery bank.
  5. If you look 8 messages up, you will see that I am asking what tool upgrades them as well. Haven't found it yet. EDIT: I went into creative and tried all four wrenches, all four hammers and even the nailgun and none worked.
  6. I have a question, I have tried searching but cannot find the answer. What tool do I use to upgrade the bar block into the steal reinforced concrete block with the portland cement? I can't seem to find it through search or experimentation so far.
  7. I think there is or was an on destruct property that allowed you to replace it with the seed or you can have it downgrade into the seed block. I'm not sure of what was exactly done but some of the 16.4 mods did do this and you might want to look at them to see how they did it exactly and see if it is still possible.
  8. If you don't meet the level requirements, it will say that and continue to say that until you suddenly reach the level that you can use it.
  9. I am using the launcher as well, the previous version worked fine for me but the new version just gives me errors. I tried starting a new world and still got errors and it locked up during generation. I am including the output_log.txt in a zip file here so you can see what it is doing.   10. Don't know about the others, but this one is a bug of 17.0 and is fixed in 17.1 that is still in experimental.
  11. If I remember correctly, Guppy or someone mentioned that they are decorations only at the moment so nothing can really be done with them at the moment. I don't know why decorations are limited but I think it may have even be earlier in this thread that it was mentioned.
  12. Also, when I wrenched a flashlight at the end I got the flashlight and one of the electrical items, not the electronic one. I don't know if you intended the electrical to be given or not but thought I would mention it.
  13. I think the author will be updating the mod as it has existed for at least as long as I have had 7 Days to Die and I started at Alpha 11. You just need a little patience as a lot changed with this version of the game and it may take a little while for authors to update their complete mods.
  14. Hi, I'm loving the mod but I have wrenched dozens of cars in v3.1.3 and haven't gotten a single car part yet. I have also not gotten any engines and I really need one so I can make some of the things like a wood chipper, cement mixer and minibike. I think a mistake was made and for some reason they are not showing up in loot or when wrenching cars. I am above level 45 and have 3 points in the mechanic skill at the moment.
  15. I just started a new run on v2.2 and the stick recipe is missing. I exited the game completely and reloaded my save and it was still missing. I used the mod launcher and it downloaded and installed the mod both times. Great mod. :-) EDIT: I should mention that it's the 21 day basic version of the game.
  16. A minor bug I noticed with the tungsten tools that the perk to allow making level 600 tools doesn't work when I make them. Using v5.1.6 on A16.3, the machete does seem to work with the weapons perk but the tools just make up to level 500. Haven't gotten the guns or the armor one yet so I can't say if those work properly or not.
  17. I can't upgrade flagstone to cobblestone using the wrench in v5.1.4 or cobblestone to the first cement block. I have enough of cobblestone and cement buckets to be able to do this. The wrench might not work on upgrading other items as well as I haven't tried it yet. I didn't see a fix for the wrench in the patch notes but I will be downloading the new version and checking that as well.
  18. I have had this happen to me as well. When it happens, the save that it is on is basically destroyed as it will keep happening there. The only thing I can think of is that there is something wrong somewhere in the mod but only happens very rarely. It only happens in this mod to me. I have played games for a lot longer in Valmod Expansion and Overhaul without the problem and even my own mixed mod that I am creating for myself and have not had it happen in any of those. Even vanilla 15.2 b8 doesn't give me this problem. I did have this problem once before as well but when the mod eventually got patched higher it went away. It is now back again.
  19. I found them in the traders secret stash fairly often and had used all of them. For some reason the Protection class didn't give me the third one so I still can't craft the higher armors. It told me that the quest finished but I didn't get the third one unlocked allowing me to unlock and craft the higher armors. I also think the skill points are awarded too high as I am level 80 something and have over 1000 points and I have put points into every thing I can maxing out every skill and I did do all of the class papers so I unlocked everything that isn't locked by mistake or by level restrictions.

  21. Thanks, I already fixed my copy of the mod. This is a great mod and I haven't had any of those error I used to get with the earlier versions of the mod and I have played many, many hours of the mod. :-)
  22. I can't craft all the parts of the remington 8 even though I have the parts perk and the weapon smithing station. This is the previous version, the receiver is called something else in the perk so it doesn't unlock. I will be downloading the new version soon and trying it out. EDIT - Oh, I don't know if this was by intention or not but both the scrapironaxe and scrapironshovel have a weight of 15 even though it takes more than that much scrap to create them. EDIT 2 - I just checked and both of these issues are still there.
  23. Since v4-2-3 I haven't had any errors yet and I have been playing for hours a day for the past few days. I did update to 4-2-5 when it was released and played for an hour and a half through a 7 day horde with no errors. So far it looks like great fun and I am enjoying playing it. For my own enjoyment, I edited the entityclasses.xml to allow the corpses to stay around longer so I had time to loot them after the 7 day horde night. I did find something strange, drinking green tea does not give the empty jar back. I looked at the xml in items.xml and found that it didn't contain the code to give the jar back.   24. I was on the ladder going up to my platform near the traders. I stopped moving when the errors started popping up and quit the game right there. I guess there is something that you mod is doing that other mods don't and is causing 7DtD to freak out on my specific system. It's too bad because I really liked what I had played so far.
  25. I don't know why I am getting the errors but it isn't instantaneous. Like I said one save I am about to try and survive the first 7 day horde and no errors. Three other saves, two of the previous version and one of the latest all had these console errors pop up. Hopefully if you load my save, you will see the error that keeps popping up as well.
