  1. I don't think you are over reacting to this at all.  One of my players copied and pasted the TOS from the Compo Pack Discord and we are all shocked/@%$#ed

I don't have any prefabs published yet, but I can and do make them for my own server.  And I have some players that make amazing POI's too.  We would love to contribute to this endeavour.

  2. The "Black Better" generator is not craftable. It is unlocked by adv. engineering, but you forgot to add it to the progression.xml file.  I added it in and it works perfectly.  Just thought I'd let you know.

I do love all the mods though. :D  VERY good work.

Weird - just got this same question over on Nexus...   😉   I'll just copy and paste my answer from Nexus here.....

I'm in the process of doing several video tutorials on this and several other nifty Prefab tricks I've discovered to enhance POI game-play (hidden noise traps, sleeper spawning under water, hidden mines, etc.).   But the short version is that this is supported by columns of terrain blocks that have had their 'density' manipulated in the Prefab Editor (using the down arrow key) to the point where they are no longer visible.   In this state, they still have SI, and neither the zombies nor the players can directly interact with them.  Zombies will not agro against them as they don't even know they are there.   There is a particular property with terrain blocks that makes this possible - which I will explain in detail in the tutorial.

Awesome.  Thank you for the answer.  I can probably figure it out. :D

If people want to learn how to do this, they can simply ask me.  I have provided this information freely on both discord and Facebook anytime I've been asked.  Individuals on the TFP crew are also aware of this technique.

I am curious.  Been running a server and making things for years now.  So how is it done? :D

but not in our game :)

    1) Careful. If you start ignoring what players want and just do whatever, it will hurt business.
    2) When that ability was taken away, Madmole said it was for realism. That he wants the game as real as possible.. Yet, it is realistic that someone could fit through that space.  So which is? Do you want realism or not?

Will there be an in-game explanation for our players seeing a zombie go through a 1 block opening and wondering why they can't crawl through one?

It will defy the game's own world logic and break immersion.

Sure, that 2 ton backpack you are carrying does not fit.

Do you know how big a meter is? 3.2 feet.. I am a larger guy and I could easily fit through a 1 meter square space with a big backpack on.

No one has heard from Damocles in several months. I considered keeping it going, but Ive pretty much converted over to King Gen at this point. It will still work in A20 I would guess, but King has added so many new options at this point, i think it makes more sense to point people to KG.

I am not on the forums too often so I haven't heard of King Gen.  Thank you for letting me know about it! :D  I'll look it up now and grab it.  I run a two servers and even on a high end CPU it still takes forever for the game to make a map. lol  So something like King Gen is a must, but I guess you know that. lol

There seems to be something up with your PC then. Check your anti-virus and any security programs, make sure you have all your updates applied, and reboot your PC so its fresh.

Updated windows just a few hours before download.  AV says it didn't block anything.

lol  I literally did nothing differently right now compared to when I post that message and now it works.  Effing Windows. lol

    I don't think you are stupid :)

    1) In your web browser, create a free account on GitHub.com

    2) In your web browser, create a New Repository. Initialize with a ReadMe.md (it'll be an option).

    3) Download and install GitHub Desktop

    4) In your web browser, click on Clone... in your Repo.

    5) Pick a folder where it'll download through Github Desktop. It should be an empty folder.

    6) Copy your Mods folder into it the same folder.

    7) In Github Desktop, click on Summary text, and enter in a description: "First upload"

    😎 Submit.

    9) In Github Desktop, click on "Push origin"

Edit: The smiley with the sun glasses is unintentional, but it is an exciting moment when you submit your changes.

OK, here's my luck.  Neither the .exe or the .msi install files work on my computer..  the .exe gives me an error and doesn't install.  The .msi starts and then just disappears.

Didn't even notice the Github desktop download. lol  I'll try that.  Thank you. :)

    New Update: 2.1.22
    - Fixed issue with some modlets not being installed
    - Fixed where Navezgane world files were being over-written

Not difficult at all.  Upload your mod with the correct folder structure.

You can create an XML file to add your description and link. Here's an example of mine: https://github.com/SphereII/7D2DConfig/blob/master/Alpha19/sphereiimental.xml

Let me know the link to the xml when you are ready

Well, I want to have a bunch of mods from the community and a couple from myself.  So I guess I should have a mods folder on github with all the mods in?

Do you have a mod pack hosted somewhere on github or gitlab?

Nope, but it would be easy enough to do it. :D  Once I do that, is it hard to get my server added?  Because there are a bunch of mods I'd like to use on my server, but helping everyone download and install everything one person at a time is a pain.

I don't believe there should be any issues for most of the mods. Only the Nuka Colas mod, which includes a prefab, would be a problem. And that would only be the prefab not spawning, everything else should be fine. :)

Awesome!  Thank you for the quick response as well. :)
