Fair enough, but I'd like to state the obvious... console gamers have MUCH lower expectations than PC gamers, as they are an inferior species. 😃11 points

-=TacticalAction=- Hello everyone, I'm from china, and not good as English. About this mod plese see the video : https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV12X4y1M7r6 This mod add a lot of guns and gun mods to the game. Right now, you can use EOTechG33 + AimpointM3 + PVS22 three scopes on one weapon. Or, ACOG_ECOS + PVS22, Or just G33 + PVS22, without Reticle. All those scopes use "C" or "Ctrl"key to change state. There have many other things in this mod. And the best, a huge display of10 points

@madmole What if you added a multiplier for "scrap time" to each tier of the Salvage Operations perk? It would fit there, and make scrapping a stack of radiators not as rough.8 points

Ztensity's Unnecessarily Beautiful But Immersive The Unnecessary But Beautiful 19.3 Rebuild (Permission Granted By Hernan) UPDATE 1.2.8! In 1.2.7, I added a bedroll feature to three beds, added a light feature to three additional items and provided the ability to unlock lights early by finding the "basics of electricity schematic." I also patched the perk requirement system, updated textures, updated light animations, updated localizations, recipe ordering and added bundle loading to help better optimize certain game files for6 points

From reading the Steam forum, trust me, a lot of people are not picking up on these read vs. unread icons. Colorization wouldn't hurt, but more should be done. My recommendation is to switch to ❓ and ✔️ icons, whatever they want to do color-wise.6 points

It won't happen. Decent melee and ranged bandits needs done yet and that itself is more than a handful. We don't want to go further, mining is shippable. Pretty much no to every "any chance for" question. We're adding bandits and some quests and polishing old content and going gold. Lots of great ideas to push to 7 Days 2 once we ship 7 Days. Bandits with guns will be hard and we have some special infected designed if we get time could be a nice later game challenge. No 7 days has 5000 more features than Left 4 Dead, so we need to polish what we have instead of adding e5 points

So you are willing to challenge yourself by increasing the slider marked "difficulty" but not willing to challenge yourself by playing a build other than strength or agility? Here you are complaining that the game is so samey play after play and the only way you can keep playing is to up the difficulty to be challenged. Why not play on an easier difficulty like warrior (if necessary) but ignore strength and go fortitude or perception or even intellect as your main build for weapons and only do strength and agility for support perks? Personally, I'd call the Strength build the "Noob Build" beca5 points

Having played EQ , AO , WoW , DAoC , LotRO and so many other games in beta and early release over the years...and every Elder Scrolls and Fallout game that Bugthesda is responsible for... This game has NOTHING on them lol...A7 was less buggy then all of the above for sure... People should feel lucky with this game and its extremely small , by comparison bug list...5 points

Im all in for improving the game, but i think there should be a threshold that shouldnt be crossed over. Zombies are dumb creatures, they shouldnt be engineers 😉 There's enough of the Blood Moons hordes identifying the shortest path to you, through the weakest defenses and working with that to get to kill you. Same for piling up to reach higher spots, à la World War Z. Beyond this, i think it loses its purpose and zombies arent really zombies anymore. It looks silly imho, no offense. If people really want smarter threats, then i think this is where Bandits get introduce5 points

Wandering hordes randomly skim along the edge of where a player is, so maybe you just got (un)lucky and they have not been noticing you? That would be an interesting thing to bring in closer as their target's GS increases.5 points

For us uninformed people, Can u please link the part where a dev promises unlimited map sizes. Thanks!4 points

Last night i had a blood moon in game , i was in a fairly new game 28 days in . I've amped up the difficulty to survivalist because for some reason i always find ways to trick the AI but it looks very silly , so i decided not to do silly stuff this time. I had a small base , made out of iron bars and an iron door , i usually fortify alot the door because zombies usually love my doors. This time though 1 zombie everytime was doing its own thing , he went for a random iron bar and once he had it a little bit damaged the whole horde went there , and this time there was no ending to4 points

Like the title says, SphereII and I missed the Skyrim style lockpicking mini game so we introduced it into the WinterWeen mod. It was well received, so I'm releasing a modlet of the locks that work with the lockpicking code added to the 19.3 version of SphereII's Core. This mod requires DMT, so use the mod launcher and add the core and this locks mod. The launcher with do the rest. The difficulty of the locks is configurable in the core, but it set to offer a challenge but not be impossible for folks that didn't master lockpicking in Skyrim. To pick a lock, press "E" on any l4 points

It has been confirmed that there will be no bandits in Alpha 20. They are doing (among dozens of new POI, loot, quest and RWG changes) new weapons, brand new armour system and special Zombies that bring more quality and variety to gameplay, and that takes until summer or so with their team of 40 devs. Bandits are probably an alpha 22 feature , but there's a good chance that the first iteration (aka basic functionality) comes online in alpha 21. Did I mention that they are letting ALL the common Zds crawl through one meter holes ? and the new door changes ? shape menu system ? Tho4 points

I've been doing more prefab building recently, and I had two questions on the future of textures. I understand that you can't just go adding world textures whenever, because the texture atlas can't get too big. Given this constraint, and that you're expanding tinting to vehicles in A20, have you considered tinting for world textures? I estimate you could free up space for about 20 more world textures, if you strategically converted the ones you could to a base texture plus a tint (e.g. "concrete white" + tint = "concrete purple"), and possibly more if you allowed decals4 points

Living of the Land lvl1 seems essential to me. Double the farm output halfs ultimate farm size, time to farm and seriously increases the speed of building the farm to the size you ultimatly need.4 points

This has been brought up before and one problem is, what counts as "player hoard"? Every container in every location in the entire world? So you have 20 Meat Stew and 10 First Aid Kits at your base 7,500m away, but you ran into a spot of trouble and are now bleeding, infected, and hungry. Sorry, pal, you've got all that stuff on the other side of the map! Or remember that one Shamway you were looting and there was too much stuff, so you left a bunch of canned goods in a random container somewhere in the store, intending to "come back later"? Well, that's now part of your hoard and4 points

Console did sell great...but then it got dropped and console players felt extremely shafted for paying money for a product that was never delivered. I get what you're saying, and it's true that it "did" sell great before the Great Shafting, but it might seem callous to some to point that out,4 points

Oh....we get it just fine. And I can teach long division to anyone.... As for your medical bandage analogy, you are the one who is proving your ignorance. What it would ACTUALLY be like is if when you used a medical bandage, instead of automatically healing 100% of the time without needing to do anything else, 10% of the time you'd have to go through a minigame of washing the wound and stitching it up carefully and applying some antibacterial ointment before applying the bandage in order to get the healing. Since I know you won't understand this truer analogy unless it is p4 points

How on earth could I be responding to your posts if they were not allowed? What could I possibly be quoting from in my own posts and how would anyone understand what the heck I’m talking about if they couldn’t read what you wrote which still remains and will remain for as long as these forums exist...? If you don’t want to continue the discussion, that’s fine but it’s your choice to stop and nobody else is stopping you. You brought the heat to the devs on this issue because you said they’re big boys and can take it. Are you saying you can’t take on some challenges to your own view4 points

If you don't want to die, the best strategy is to run away. That is human survival in a nutshell.4 points

I don't think the OP is interested in being convinced and the only place for this to go is into the arena of insults and piling on so I'm locking it. Not every game is for everyone. Thanks for your feedback @Gar1234 and too bad the game didn't sync with your preferences like it did with your friend.4 points

What I liked about nitrogen is that any "hightmap" image taken from the Internet and cropped to a 1: 1 ratio can be used to create a map. For example, take this abstraction: Let's process it a little, feed it to nitrogen and get a map:4 points

Say what? What part of what you quoted was worded badly and why do you think it was poorly worded? The game isn't done yet. What you say might be true if what we have now is intended as the final version and the recent changes don't work well with it. But it's not the final version. It is an interem version and you have no idea what the final version will be to be able to make a statement like that. I know that 7 years is a long time but, yes, the game is still in development and there are future additions still to come that will make recent changes make sense. Talking a4 points

Interesting. You say others fail to understand the distinction but then you do the same thing with my statement. Obviously, I was saying that the devs will work to close and end "software exploits" but that they will not try to stop every strategy that people use to gain an advantage over the zombies. Stopping people from improperly using flaws (such as the hatch elevator) but allowing them to use legit strategies (such as kill corridors) that ultimately give them an advantage over their enemies is horrible design philosophy? I don't think so. The real problem is that4 points

I think any loot item that has no use in any recipe and exists only to be scrapped should be removed and the scrap brass, lead, etc., should be found instead.4 points

I'd love a full character customization setup like Bethesda has but we're a small team and have to pick our battles or never ship. The head system is expandable and we might get a little face customization in, we'll see yet. After a few hours though everyone has a full helmet on and you never see your face anyway so I don't see the argument. Cool, maybe I missed it, but a smiley face to indicate humor with text is a must have usually I agree, and I myself have spent hours making new characters for certain role plays in other games, but 7 Days was never that game for me. Variety is fun. For some of us, playing around with sliders isn't just something to get out of the way before you get to the game. It is itself fun, intrinsically: a place to experiment, be artistic and creative, role play, and take satisfaction in the fact that no one has ever played the game with this particular character before, in the same way we find it satisfying to play on a random world no one else has seen before. My first hour (literally, I clocked it) of playing Fallout 4 was spent in the character creator, despite the rest of the game not holding my interest for long.4 points

I'm not gonna read all the replies, but I main a stealth build. Padded armor, advanced muffled connectors, From the Shadows, and Hidden Strike. I love stealth in this game. I also love that sometimes I'm surprised by agroed zeds. 95% of the time though, I can clear a PoI without waking a single zed.3 points
