  1. After mulling it over with moderators, no more discussion of playing without Steam, please. It's too close to discussing piracy, which is against the rules. Officially, you need to be running Steam to play the game, and this is intentional.   2. What you are mining with the auger makes a big difference in how likely screamers are to spawn. Mining metal is the culprit. You will get a lot of screamers if you are doing a big iron mining session. If you are just mining stone you won't see nearly as many screamers.

  4. Something that we as the community want and mostly need is the next level of threat. Besides the normal Zombies leveling up, getting harder as you level up is challenging and fun. However implementing a new creature that has evolved through this world be a nice fresh challenge to look forward to!! Having this Behemoth spawn in like every 10 to 20 days would be something! Having such a creature that you can look forward to without it dulling out to quickly is something that needs to be added!

  8. I attempted to submit a POI, but the Discord link stated "invalid link". Side note - I want to ensure I am submitting them properly with the right settings. Is there a cheat sheet beyond the explanation in the Prefabs.txt file as it is slightly greek to me in regards to the direction and x,y,z coordinates.

  12. I would like this change too, but I don't think it is going to happen The devs decided to do it like this for simplicity and performance. Having an arbitrarily complicated mesh of connections would be more expensive to simulate. This situation happens to me all the time: I have a large base with tons of lights and electrical machines and I have a single electrical system that runs from the roof to the basement to power everything, however a single solar bank isn't enough. Thats very annoying. One possible solution, I hope they will consider, is to increase the maximum power output

  13. It depends on where you mine. If you mine far away and in random spots then you can avoid a constant screamer parade for a few minutes. If you mine in a workstation area or in a previously heated place without the proper "cooling" time then it's very possible to have peak heat and get constant lady attention from minute 1. Happens to me near my base, yet on a Tier 3 POI with guns (and above) and far away mining I would get just one or two fangirls in that half hour. Worry not ! According to the OP we get a new model for the Screamer in a20, I'm sure we will learn to love it !

  14. Did this today, wiped every 7 days file I could find using the tool and manually finding files. Map was generated a week ago on 19.3. Reinstalled the game and am still getting xp for bundling. Next test is wiping the server. The last server wipe was for 19, haven't wiped for the updates. Once we are done with our current map, I'll see if wiping server fixes the bundling xp.

  20. Why does the hunter also have to be the cook? Many miners back in the day worked their claims solo or duo, and definitely did their own cooking. Since your miner has to invest in strength anyways, he should definitely be the cook and you can justify that even from a role-playing perspective. Your hunter would need investment in both fortitude and perception if he wanted both animal tracker and huntsman, true. And he should be the one tending the farm since lotl is in fortitude already. No reason for agility though, as your scavenger could loot improved knive

  21. Engineers are not really meant to fight like the other classes you mentioned. They are also not useless since they will make the other classes have an easier time. Engineers basically would be like a support class. They are they builder of bases. Give you automated defenses and horde management options. Junk turrets don't require brass for their ammo so you can replenish them easy if your Miner can get enough iron to feed them. That being said, the engineer is not totally defenseless . They can place a turret to assist in killing zombies or hunting. You can easily kill a bear just with

  22. Looks fun, thank you for creating this. One of the rules is that you can't have any modlets installed or edit the xml. This would mean that it can only be played in English. It looks like a fun challenge, so it would be nice if it could be played in other languages. I do Japanese localization for many mods by making a simple localization modlet, that only changes the Japanese text in that mod. In this case, it sounds like you would fail the challenge if I did that. If I translate all the altered lines in the localization xml, would you be willing to add them? Either th

  24. Maybe im the only one, but I would be very happy about boss zombies with a real challange. I think its very good how the game is developing, for reasons of time I havent played for a long time since the alpha 18. And then I found these new super upgraded zobies that explode when they die... i found them only in the 7th night. I also found a radioactive giant wild boar under a crass laboratoy... they are only a little weak but very interesting.   25. All Irradiated Zombies. One cooling tower partially collapsed into another one, creating a mountain of rubble that lets you reach the top of the second cooling tower. The rod pool being devoid of water and filled to the brim with irradiated feral wights. A secret underground portion used to experiment on radiation treatments for the zombie plague, with a hidden wall safe containing a guaranteed rad removal mod and schematic (similar to the sham can in sham factory). They do need to be fixed, here's what I would do. once I club it to death, I should be able to walk up to it and club it some more until it's just a red paste on the ground. then if I keep on clubbing it, the ground splits and I fall down a layer. When I keep on clubbing it, my club breaks and I can't fix it. Then there should be a stomp feature until I run out of stamina. When the hole I am in is 30 ft deep, the game warns me that it's hard to get out. I should be able to pick a screw it option and keep on stompping it s

  32. My friends and me, loves to roleplay, especially in open-world games like 7days to die. Time to time we are playing next sessions, and play till 40 day or such. But we have seen a problem. We are trying to make a diverse and complementary team - scavenger, miner, builder, hunter, engineer, and so on. Most important archetypes are Miner, scavenger, and hunter/trapper. nad there are problems: 1. To be a miner i need only few points in strenght, and i need two (three) skills.   33. Ah this could be it. I have different ores flagged around the local area, and just drive out once every week or two and mine for about 10 minutes then leave for another week or two. The heat map probably cools between sessions. I always put my junk turrets watching my back ready to kill anything that falls into my mine entrance but I usually see a max of like 1 screamer per mining session. It's usually just a random zombie or two that wander by and fall in more than screamers. With the chainsaw thing, I've got a tree farm right next to the base so I bet it's a hot zon

  34. Maybe you just had a bugged session or something. On some worlds I'd get screamers a mile a minute when I was using an auger, but when they didn't show up I would bring up the console menu, and it usually registered it as "Spawning zombie scout failed".

  35. Totally agree here, the skill/perk system 7d2d currently uses is ... bad. It forces you into various stuff. Either spezialice into one of the 5 skills, or waste a loot of skillpoints for things you don't need by cross-skilling. With that it forces your playstyle to use what your skill allows you to do. Strength-build because miner, but want to use light armor anyway? - bad idea It forces ranged weapons to be combined with specific melee weapons. I voted 1 for now as well, as I am not a kiss-ass, the current system is garbage and should be reverted until they have it finalized, the curretn loot system right now has completly destroyed the game for me to the point I don't even wanna play it anymore due to how linear it is. Even when its finalized I think a18's loot would be better with just some tweaks done to it. Listen: Loot in sandbox games should not be linear like this, thats why a18 loot was so perfect, you could get lucky and get steel tools on day 1, I mean it'd be quality 1, but still a nice find.
