  5. This has been brought up before and one problem is, what counts as "player hoard"? Every container in every location in the entire world? So you have 20 Meat Stew and 10 First Aid Kits at your base 7,500m away, but you ran into a spot of trouble and are now bleeding, infected, and hungry. Sorry, pal, you've got all that stuff on the other side of the map! Or remember that one Shamway you were looting and there was too much stuff, so you left a bunch of canned goods in a random container somewhere in the store, intending to "come back later"?   6. Last night i had a blood moon in game , i was in a fairly new game 28 days in . I've amped up the difficulty to survivalist because for some reason i always find ways to trick the AI but it looks very silly , so i decided not to do silly stuff this time. I had a small base , made out of iron bars and an iron door , i usually fortify alot the door because zombies usually love my doors. This time though 1 zombie everytime was doing its own thing , he went for a random iron bar and once he had it a little bit damaged the whole horde went there , and this time there was no ending to

Both of the maps use just the standard spawns (not Combo pack) They are both working on Alpha 19.3 (b6) Stable. Feel free to download and use on your private/public server. A preview map can be found inside each zip as well.   8. Been using with your map for awhile. Works great. NICE Map. (I made the flying vehicles much more expensive to craft esp. the shark to limit use to later game. But even then I had a drone bus crafted by day 50)

Using it with loads(60 game days so far ) of mods including Snufin's community pack vehicles (the expanded version only I made the flying vehicles MUCH more expensive to craft). Love the map (another good one I run is "Boating_Modlet" by "Ragsy2145 & Guppycur" (edited so I can have 3 people in the larger boat).

  10. So you are willing to challenge yourself by increasing the slider marked "difficulty" but not willing to challenge yourself by playing a build other than strength or agility? Here you are complaining that the game is so samey play after play and the only way you can keep playing is to up the difficulty to be challenged. Why not play on an easier difficulty like warrior (if necessary) but ignore strength and go fortitude or perception or even intellect as your main build for weapons and only do strength and agility for support perks?   12. Multiplayer game is good, but if feature is not working there, but single player can have that feature. Then why not release feature for single player only, and improve and release for multiplayer when it can be ready? At least 10% -30% of community will get something to play extra?

I don't know about exploiting or even cheesing but I do agree that it isn't really doing what the trader asked you to do so I would agree a punishment like a downgrade in rep if rep is implemented could be warranted. But how is it an exploit if there is effort put into bringing down the building and you'd be missing out on all the looting? I'd like to see a demolition quest since the game has explosives and buildings can be destroyed. Why not a quest to craft dynamite and place it and bring a whole building down? Maybe once dynamic imposters are solved and implemented so that ther

  15. Try removing all the mods to see if it still happens. If it does then your save/world is likely corrupt, otherwise it's a mod. At least that's my best guess.

  17. 1. I've never said that bandits are coming in A22 for sure. I stated an opinion about their level of polishness by then. My opinion says they will not be completely 100% finished by a21 even if they are in, due to a lot of systems being developed still. 2.   18. Respectfully, none of what you've presented proves bandits are coming in A22. Please do not spread your assumptions as factual timelines. It is harmful to tell other players when to expect something that has not been announced because then they hold TFP accountable.

  20. Oh, duh, of course. I was thinking of land mines, but that makes sense because that's trap damage. I'm not sure why the added explosion damage means you aren't getting XP on a melee weapon. Also, I thought that you wanted the explosions to apply for each of the 3 targets. If you want the explosion particle effect to only be triggered on the enemy you hit, but the explosion damage to be applied to an AOE, that's doable but a bit trickier. I'm not sure you should do this though - you probably want the explosion effect as a visual indicator that the explosion did damage to particular

  22. The new primitive rifle model looks awesome! Glad they finally went with something lever action. That being said, kinda sad to waste a sweet lever action model on a single shot primitive rifle. It's more common that this type of rifle would have an internal magazine. Personally I think it would be cooler to see the current hunting rifle end up as the primitive weapon and this new model tier 1.

  23. Lol. Think bigger. 50 years ago (1971 )was the last big storm with up to 20cm (0,65 feet) of snow depth covering the surrounding mountain villages/cities . Today, in a continuous storm of more than 24 hours we got 50 to 70 cm (1,64 feet to 2,29 feet) snow depth INSIDE the city (500m altitude). Everything is white, every tree with winter leafs has fallen due to the weight, every window full,, every roof filled with snow. The biggest one in Madrid was 1 meter depth back in 1904.   25. Of course knowing and planning for this internal mechanism is akin to save scumming. Don't complain that the game is too easy for you while using those tricks. There are legitimate ways to get iron tools early.

  31. Alpha 20 will give us the ability to select quests from previous tiers. Prime mention in the last stream we will have the ability to do this. Not sure if each page will have 5 quests per tier, but Atleast that’s a start. Also currently when you go to accept the quest it does give what location the quest is for.   32. How so when the product that was promised was a stand alone version of the game based on the Alpha 14 architecture and what was delivered was that PLUS elements of A15 as well. The truth is that console players got more than they were promised but just not as much as they erroneously expected (if they were expecting parity with the PC version for some reason) I guess that’s why you said many of them FELT shafted. They weren’t. But they felt that way. Unfortunately, there’s no helping what people are going to inexplicably feel.

  34. The old system could easily be simulated in a mod. Just create armors that have huge random variations in heat and cold resist (maybe this is even what TFP is doing with the 4 slots right now). Or even have seperate items "scrap chest armor with shirt", "scrap chest armor with duster", "scrap chest armor with poncho" (if the xml is generated with a small script it really isn't that much work) I'm sure TFP is trembling now with fear since you threatened to quit 😄

  35. Ok. I have never played around with rwgmixer. I can't assess how much randomness would be in the old biome generation and how probable it was that you saw the same biome map. 1) Who knows, the generator might just select between 10 or 20 fixed versions of a biome map internally. Very unlikely since someone should have noticed this in A16 already. 2) Since all the rest of RWG is procedurally generated I would assume biome generation also uses the (user-provided) seed that is used for the rest of world generation. Are you sure that the other poster used a different name for Worl

  38. Nitrogen uses zero vanilla files to generate it's world. Editing the biomes folder to get more ores underground will work. Those generate when you open the region anyway so even if changed mid game they will still affect the map in unexplored areas. I've done it, in a Nitro map. Idk if the same is true for the boulders, never tried them.

But of a holiday break from working on the prefab haha StillWater had some issues with the moat, but the good folks working on the next compo pack have been helping me fix it, as well as some optimisation techniques needed to get it to fit in with the compo pack rules. This of course means the castle should eventually become available as part of the compo pack, and im working on getting it ready for the next release (which might not be until a20).   44. @Damocles: if you are moving on to other things (and you find this post) would it be possible to release the source code to this? if it has other uses for you/other games of course It would make sense to keep it closed/protected. Forgive my ignorance if this has been discussed already, or if something about it is proprietary. I haven’t read any of the above posts I doubt I would be able to do anything with the code but someone else may be able to continue maintenance of it for this game.

  45. From what I have heard, he has moved on to other projects. Which means that this is not likely to see another update. With each Stable release it gets further and further away from being compatible with the client.

  46. Headed into first horde. Can you explain "hedgehog" shape for spike placement? I can't really tell if theyre working I take no damage when stepping on them. Using log spikes for now... This best mod I have played and I played all of them since A14. Thank you... One thing i miss is level 1-600 tools...good excitment finding one or crafting one 😀 Here is my small shack so far...love using storage that makes sense like water barrel...toolbox..etc. Ive been running around and breaking down logs at night...trying to get buff 💪
