  3. once upon an alpha... they used to.. shoot the deer and followed him until he dropped from bleeding to death.... that was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away would be nice to see a return or perk proc for it.

  5. Nomad difficulty. Mountain lions are tough. This is why I argue the snow biome is tougher than the wasteland. Sure, the wasteland has vultures, zombie dogs, zombie bears, land mines... but the snow biome has mountain lions, dire wolves, lumberjacks, and bears literally everywhere. You'll spend a good portion of your time early on trying to find a house that doesn't have a mountain lion or whatever prowling around outside. One major benefit of the snow biome, ironically enough, is there's food growing everywhere. I got 2 and a half stacks of snowberries by the end of day 1.

A19.0 Robeloto Custom Zombies Modlet If you are looking for a realistic mod you have come to the wrong place, but if you are looking for some variation in the game involving some nice action with new zombies and with increased difficulty you happen to just be in the right thread. Upcoming stuff and fixes: Thinking of sticking another 2 Candycanes in Candygirls ears too. I mean, halloween and xmas is just around the corner. So some zombies need to spice up. Changing the FireBoss apperance to a better one. Adding more prefabs to zombies so they look a bit more different and cooler. Making some more alternate versions. 2020-10-14 (v2.73): Candygirl apperance: She wields 2 candycaneshiv in her hands. All fire zombies has now torch particle coming from their hands. Shocker zombie has small shock particle coming from his hands. Feral Shock apperance corrected as he was invisible, cause the material changed. Added new quest. This quest rewards you with a schematic for the Steelbootsofhaste and MagicPlateArmor + experience and casinocoins. Quest is added to loot with a 6% chance. MagicPlateArmor and Steelbootsofhaste has now quaility stages. The Sboh has an increased speed. Some recipes have changed a bit, such as MagicPlateArmor. Localization has been updated. All alternate versions has also been updated. Remember that if you have a quest from the old versions active and you proceed installing and playing, your character will be reset. Make a backup and/or play with the old quest version. I think you can remove the quest and after that proceed installing the new files, but always make backups in case.   9. What is this? This plugin replaces the zombie spawning model with an offline simulation. Players on the server will be assigned a visibility zone that decides which zombies will be active and which ones will be offline. If the zombie was killed it will respawn at the map border as an offline version and roams the map, if the zombie is still alive but leaves the player visibility it will become offline but keeping attributes such as health and class.   12. Is there a mod that removes Tier 6 weapons and tools from the loot system and makes it so they can be crafted? I personally think that a Tier 6 weapon/tool should not be found and only be crafted, as a perk for maxing out the skill. I'm probably alone in thinking this, but still, requesting the modlett if it doesn't exist and requesting a link if it does.

  13. This is the base I came up with! Build it near any Trader, and you're protected from whatever comes your way. There are plates in between the wood frame wedges and the hatches, to prevent dogs from jumping through. I've lured bears to it, direwolves, fought hordes on horde night (while running around with pipe bombs and molotovs, coming back to base to heal or gather my bearings). The cave beneath gives me that classic alpha 15-16 feel, the nostalgia of a safe underground place to call home. All in all I'm very happy with it, I built one identical to it in the snowy biome near Trader Hugh, only minus the cave below because at present, my storage isn't overflowing and there's not a surplus that I need to divide between two bases. I'm on permadeath, still alive during the night of day 10, Warrior, 60 minute days. Going strong >=D Level 4 intellect for the necessary workstation and vehicle unlocks, and level 7 strength (with a cigar boost) for mining and clubbing. Just got myself a flashy new level 3 Baseball Bat from a quest, got a spike mod put in it for extra badassery, and I managed to buy a level 1 Pump Action shotgun on day 2, that's been helping keep me alive a LOT. I just wish someone told me months ago the proper way to address leveling in single player. I was always confused, always felt like I was missing out on too much just so I could invest in what I wanted. Prioritize things: first 4 points, 2 into strength, 2 into sex rex. After that, for the first week, invest entirely into intellect to get necessary workstations and vehicles. Then add to whatever build you want afterward, investing in your weapons and perks of choice throughout all the attributes. I can't help but put 1 point into daring adventurer and living off the land after investing my first 4 points into sex rex. Having a blast, enjoying myself very much, hope you all can have just as much fun with it. Just invest in what you need first, then invest in what you want. That's single player in a nut shell.   14. Sounds like some cool stuff. I especially like the craftable trader. However, it's generally not a good idea to have so many different ingredients for a single recipe, as the vanilla crafting menu can only display five different ingredients. Therefore, players are going to be confused when they have all of the ingredients shown and still can't craft the item because they don't have the ingredients that can't be displayed, and have no idea what additional ingredients are required. If you want to make the recipe expensive, it's better to raise the quantity of each ingredient.

  18. You said you build a tower of wood.... then attached a floor of steel to the tower. If you exceed the total weight of what the wood can support (which you would quickly do with steel) it will all collapse. I'm fairly certain it has always been that way. But I'm not saying you shouldn't submit a bug report if you feel its a bug.... I'm just saying I don't think it is.

  19. Hunting at night with Night vision I went hunting at night because it was too boring to just hang out at my base, waiting for feral's to attack me. Really I was going to do a mission but suddenly there were all these animals so I had to try. I ended up killing two wolves, one looked like a dire wolf. I found a bear nearby. Did you know that you can climb on top of the bridge? So I was shooting it but then got hit by some zombies that were coming from behind and were gnawing on my backside. I took care of them and went back to shooting the bear. I ran out of arrows and my blunderbuss wasn't doing anything. So I attacked it with my shovel but kept getting hit. I tried again with my blunderbuss. It worked now. I did not make it to the mission but had a load of meat and stuff and so headed back home around dawn. Things of note: Night vision is great. Primitive bow's aim and damage still suck. Blunderbuss can be powerful but only at point blank range and can still miss. Guess that's why they call it a blunder.

  22. Well, there are regular ones, and leaders. Both have 2 ranged and a melee version. So there's a decent variety. And I'm not worried about gamestage. These guys should be something to avoid early on, and then only deal with if you have to, before finally becoming not as much of a threat end game. I might eventually add some even higher end ones for late game, but that's not a priority right now.

Its So weird to me seeing Oak trees in a Dry desert... if you don't know what they look like. this is what they look like, And Plus they can get REALLY Big even bigger then i though and They would Fit well in game because they are in Arizona, Arizona Has desert, Navezgane is in Arizona! HINT!

  26. I forgot to ask .. this will work OK in A19 b180 Stable ... which isn't really stable ( has many issues .. with SMG turrets at the moment _Vanilla or Modded ) .. Thank you EDIT .. I think I answered my own question after installing it in A19 b180 .. it works fine .... (Did have 1 issue, I forgot to remove my steel bar mod from another modder and it didn't or the game didn't like it _ Removed it ) .. All seems to be good now. But it doesn't like the update to A19.1 b4 exp .. Sometimes Old Players just have issues remembering which game they are playing, Lol

  29. That theoretical approach has problems on its own when taking into account multipliers and mining. The current system is ok. Not perfect, not awful. Just "gamey" enough. Must've been hell to balance it though. You did an outsanding job there . Now, about the shape menu.... do you guys have some spare time, like 4 months and 556 red bulls to make it work? lol.

  33. @Anabella The accidents just relate to indiscriminate use of weapons and explosives or players who see the wheel as a lootable object and do their hardest to take all they can get. From time to time a wheel is lost through a vehicle explosion but it’s a rarity.This just settles things down. I know what you mean about road clearing though. A stock map like Navezgane can be absolutely littered and clog up the roads with a couple of cars or more, loot boxes, ice boxes, and other bits at major junctions which just have to go. I have got too used to playing on custom maps with wider roads that appear to severely limit the amount of road spill.

Bathtub Boat Modlet for A19 Version 2 Launch Place the bathtub boat on/in water in a 'shallow water' area that has fairly flat ground underneath, if you have no shallow water in your map then build a small launch dock, then add fuel to bath tub boat and off you go. The Bath tub boat can be placed on land but will barely be able to move ( new physics colliders experiment) rendering it unsteerable and very very slow to move. Controls Steering is A and D as per vanilla setings ....mouse is for looking around only and has no affect on steering a boat. Space bar and c control the up and down angles (same as a gyro) which you will need to adjust slightly as you travel on water otherwise you may sink. W is forwards and S is slow down/reverse ..If you let go of w and shift (Turbo) then the boat slowly comes to a stop, pressing S will slow the boat down more quickly this replaces spacebar as the brake key. To anchor the bathtub boat and stop it drifting away use c and spacebar to level the boat till it stops drifting, useful if you have a fishing mod installed. Anchoring To anchor the bath boat and stop it drifting away use c and spacebar to level the boat till it stops drifting, useful if you have a fishing mod installed. Crafting The bathtub boat is craftable in a standard workbench with no progression needed at the cost of various resources and by creating the required assemblies to build it, it will help early game if you actually find a 'working workbench' and this allow you to make the bath tub a lot sooner. If anyone wants to change the recipes and build methods then please do so but let me know how you improved it. Other The bathtub boat can be picked up into inventory providing the boats inventory is empty as per normal vehicles if you sink it at any point , although be careful if you sink it too far away from the shores as it could be a long swim back. Best to not store stuff as Zombies now can attack water vehicles in game. Changelog Version2 1. Optimised Model to reduce size of unity file. 2. Added Particles ...these can be switched on or off with the F key ... (headlight function) 3.   36. Updating The Wasteland. To get the POIs, a new world will be needed. -Added the Raider NPCs. Melee and ranged variants of each. Also a boss variant. High health, high damage resistance. Regular guys drop loot like zombies, at a slightly higher rate. Boss guys have their own loot drop, at a 50% rate. They aren't perfect, but do well enough to present a challenge. They are mostly used in the new POIs, but they do have a small chance to spawn out in the wild. -Modified ~10 POIs to have Raiders instead of zeds. They are just slightly tweaked vanilla prefabs to make them not stand out. They have similar loot to the vanilla POIs, with a few changes. They are full of Raiders though, so be prepared. They are all quest options, with one a Tier 2, and most of them being Tier 4, with a couple being Tier 5. They mostly spawn well in RWG, and I've included the info I think is necessary to make them work with NitroGen. Let me know if it isn't right. -A few bug fixes and changes. Fixed 10mm ammo crafting not unlocking with Pistol Pete books. Some items not showing the correct Unlock options. Need 50 instead of 100 Star Caps to make the flier(may have pushed this last update, not sure). Few other misc tweaks and fixed that I can't remember. Lol. Git has been updated and Nexus is uploading atm, should be good within the hour.

  39. Pff nah man, I realize these things take time Especially for a mod like this that does a lot of small balance adjustments. It takes a while to explore what vanilla has to offer, and what feels like it needs to be fixed, after all.

  40. I can only partially agree. As you have likely heard a buttload of times, Learning-by-doing is the most immersive. E.G. best gameplay. Also, aside from horrible animation, why in the name of Jesus' mortal @%$# are you playing ARK? Empyrion is better than ARK and that's still a D- high school project. The last time it was so hard to get acid pre-A19, acid wasn't in the game. If you honestly want to see somebody enjoy the fruits of their labor, consider impregnating a woman and waiting 40 weeks. It's probably the worst thing you can do for your own freedom, but nutting in a woman is probably the best. Everything in balance, as it should be.
