  • Game Will Not Load

    Summary: The game will not load past Block Textures at initial startup. Not through steam, not through the launcher, nothing. I get the home screen music but I get nothing else.

    OS/Version: (Windows)

    CPU Model: (AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8 Core Processor

    System Memory: 15.9 GB

    GPU Model and VRAM: (nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super)

    Screen Resolution: (1920x1080)

    Video Settings: (Will Not Get That Far)

    Game mode: (Won't get that far)

     

    Did you wipe old saves? (Yes)

     

    Did you start a new game? (Won't load that far)

     

    Did you validate your files? (Yes)

     

    Are you using any mods? (No)

     

    EAC on

    Thank you for reporting. I see from the logs you have a lot of mods installed and some even failed to load. Please try removing all of the mods and then validating your game and seeing if you can create a new game. If you still have issues afterwards, please provide us a new log file and we can take another look.

    After scrubbing out a very well hidden cluster of leftover Darkness Falls stuff and finding yet another mods folder in the AppData>Roaming>7DaysToDie folder it finally loaded up! Thank you!
