Below I describe two possibly 3 bugs I encountered on my server.
I disabled bloodmoons on my server by setting BloodMoonFrequency to 0 in the config file.
After a few days, my players were ready for a bloodmoon so I set BloodMoonFrequency to 1.
14 game days later, bloodmoons have never triggered.
Dug through server log, and found BloodMoonDay set to 0.
Played around with that as that seemed an odd value.
Loaded up single player:
Single player on day 1: sgs BloodMoonDay 1, immediately made the day # red
so I knew it worked
On my server on day 74: sgs BloodMoonDay 74 number remained white, logged out and back in, number became red
so two bugs
Server day indicator doesn't go red when setting current day to a bloodmoon, player has to log out and in to refresh.
Setting BloodMoonFrequency to 0, then adjusting to a value that should trigger a bloodmoon, doesn't adjust BloodMoonDay, leaving it set to 0, and thus no bloodmoons spawn.
I should also note, I issued sgs BloodMoonDay 74 on day 74 at 22:30pm... nothing happened, logged out and back in and found myself in a bloodmoon.
Also issuing the command sgs BloodMoonDay 0 on day 74 at 22:30pm didn't stop the bloodmoon that was active, logging out and back in, the BM was deactivated.

Bloodmoons stop triggering when BloodMoonFrequency set to 0 then changed back.
