  • Zombie Pathing Causing Lag

    Since A20 dropped, I've been experiencing major lag spikes indoors and city areas when groups of zombies are pulled.

    I've noticed increased lag with increasing terrain complexity, such as furniture and multi-floor buildings.

    This lag is not impacted by texture settings, dynamic mesh settings, view/rendering distance settings nor any other 'options' variables.

    The lag is also independent of my OS (testing on Linux using the same rig).

    Additionally, I've noticed my performance is steady during horde night with 64 zombies with a bunker-style horde base built outside the city.

     

    My rig is:

    AMD Ryzen 5 2600x

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

    32 gigs of RAM

    M.2 drive

     

    I consider this post as a last act of desperation. I want to play more of this game (690 hrs since A18), but this issues destroys any additional desire to do so.
