Symptoms:
Launching 7 Days to Die (Alpha 20.6b Stable) sometimes gives a intermittent popping/static sound. Sometimes this is not a huge issue, but not a good sign. Pressing WASD or E is fluid and there's ZERO lag. This changes immediately when another player JOINS my party (or I join theirs). Even when I'm not in a party but join a voice chat in Discord I experience considerable input issues and lag. When I disconnect from Discord or leave the party the issues are resolved.
I've turned off all the hardware acceleration in Discord and associated features. I've uninstalled the Discord App and used my internet browser to run Discord and continued to have input lag and movement issues. I've uninstalled Discord completely and enabled voice chat in 7Days to Die. Voice chat worked but the minute my friend joined the party I had movement issues again.
These symptoms are inconsistent. One day the game will run smooth and talk to my Party using Discord-- and the next day I'll spend 4 hours cleaning cache files, uninstalling/reinstalling Discord and validating files through steam, and conducting system restarts. Today was one of those days and still no luck. Please please please help.
